Lake Silverwood!!

My cousin and I wanted to get away and just relax so we headed up to Lake Silverwood for a fun weekend of fishing, floating, hiking, and camping. We were hoping to have my uncle and my other cousin join us, but they flaked out. And so it just ended up being the two of us. But we still had lots of fun without them. We brought the fishing poles and some mackerel to use as bait for catfish. I got a few bites but unfortunately we didn't catch anything. We did see a bunch of bass swimming around so next time maybe we'll try fishing for bass instead. I also decided to bring my inflatable pack raft which ended up being a lot of fun floating all around on the lake. Saturday the weather was perfect. Nice and hot, but partly cloudy which gave us some sun relief and kept us from getting too sunburned. We camped out cowboy style that night and then sunday started off as another nice day and we spent the morning fishing and floating. But gradually the clouds built up more and more and at some point in the afternoon it started raining on us which was our sign to pack it up and head out.
