Horse track interfering with the dog track
It is a frequently used idiom. When there is a complicated and inextricable situation, it is said that the horse trail is mixed with the dog trail and becomes inextricable. In other words, this is a situation where the difference between good and bad, wrong and right, positive and negative cannot be distinguished. Who benefited and who was harmed is an unknown matter.
The horse trail is mixed with the dog track sometimes for no reason at all, unknowingly, sometimes deliberately and intentionally, so that the results of both differ from each other. It's like a fishing net or a tangle of rope. You know, we watch the fishermen unraveling the net, we say what a complicated job this is, what a difficult thing their job is; a similar situation is like the rope interweaving and it is separated and rewound.
It is innocent to unknowingly interfere with the horse trail. All coincidences come together and it becomes inextricable. If you can extract the stone from the rice, then weed it out. However, if there is a confusion consciously and intentionally, the causes of it are obvious and deliberate efforts are made and confusion has been created. However, while doing this, there are no traces left behind. Who is involved, how many are unknown except for how many, no evidence is left behind, what is happening is not understood. As a result, there is an absolute gain for them and a serious loss for their interlocutor.
