Children Vs Extracurricular activities.
Extracurricular activities are any activity that children engage in outside their regular academic activity. They can include sports and clubs. The main aim is to lighten the minds of the people involved. Extracurricular activities can also involve learning a skill, it could be organized by the school or other organizations. Extracurricular activities can also be competitive and non-competitive. Children love to participate in extracurricular activities because it's usually fun and it fosters bond among children it also helps children develop new skills and interests.

Extracurricular activities are so important for personal growth and development. They allow children to explore their interests outside the classroom and gain valuable skills.
Examples of extracurricular activities are:
- sports like racing, badminton,soccer, table tennis and so on.
- Clubs and Organizations like drama clubs, press clubs and debate clubs.
- Music and arts : playing an instrument or being part of the theater production and so on.
How can extracurricular activities help children with physical and mental growth?
Extracurricular activities provides opportunity for kids to get some exercise and stay active and fit. It helps in mental growth because it quickens their thinking ability and builds self-confidence.
Do today's children like extracurricular activities or are they forced to participate by their parents?
Yes, Children like extracurricular activities and are most times not forced to participate in it because it is a time to take your mind off academic stress and light up their mood.
Is extracurricular activity necessary for children?
Yes, it is very necessary because it makes them smarter as some activities and game requires quick thinking and it also helps in skill development. Participating in extracurricular activities like interhouse sport has a way of bringing and uniting children together. Activities like debate enhance intellectual skill and development and also helps perfect writing skill and helps develop children to be public speakers
Which are the best extracurricular activities for today's children?

Well, I'll say skill development which is actually very important in their personal development and helps in discovering talents. No activity is actually dominant over the other it all depends on what the child enjoys doing and what he or she intends to get perfect at overtime.

Every parent wants their child to be well-educated, smart and healthy and for this every child should be involved in extra-curricular activities besides studies. Yes parents want their child to do something else outside of studies, but it is very important for the child. Nowadays drawing competitions or cultural activities help children's mental development. Other activities must also be done.

Hi, extracurricular activities are great for motivating children, modeling behaviors, even reinforcing values and norms. They learn while they enjoy themselves and that is the intention as well. Great when children accept and enjoy them.
