“Steemit Engagement Challenge - S13/W5 - 90's vs 2K"
Hello everyone.It is time to write something up on this contest.I will only feel left out when I know vividly well in this new era we are now is entirely different from the the 90s.My point goes thus:
If you lived in both generations, like 90s and 2k which one did you like the most? |

Here,am in dilemma.I did rather go for the two but we are asked to pick only one.But to say my reason for picking the two.For the 90s,life has been so easy back then,although technology hasn't begun then.It is only raw materials that are being used.For the 2k, technology has come in which has made life easier and at the same time suffering.In the sense that,things were cheap and affordable back then but now to even eat three times daily is now a problem for people.Accidents occur everyday in the 2k while in the 90s was okay.Health issue back then were only cure with herbal medicine but now there are various drugs with can be taken by ejecting or taken.
So,I did go for the 2k generation.What about you?
How is school life now, and what was it like in the nineties? |

School life now is easier than back then.There are various amenities and facilities in school which the pupils can make sure of.Writing materials and tools which will aid learning are now available in our midst and many other activities the students engage in.
In the nineties,there was nothing like writing materials, blackboard and maker,a classroom or even a school uniform specially for school.They lack plenty of things which has made learning hard for people back then.Then,some decided to give up while some still stood on their feet to keep on going.

90s are boring to some certain extent.Although,there are television and some under ground cinemas to watch movies.But not all people can afford to go to cinemas to watch movies not to talk of owning television in their various homes.A lot of people will have to gather in a place to watch movies and that is done by standing.Except the rich ones who can afford to buy a tv in their homes, people will go there to watch.
In the new era 2k,there is nothing like that.You own your own personal tvs or you go to cinemas which is now affordable to watch some movies.It is easier now.

There was nothing like indoor or outdoor games in the 90s.Most people only played football,basketball,boxing ,volleyball and running.
In the 2k,we now have different categories of games one can engage in either indoor or outdoor.You can skim, organize a race, badminton and all with adequate materials ready unlike in the 90s where there are not many facilities.

The 90s can be boring and old-fashioned but at the same times there are some sweets side of it too.There are some things that are done back then,and will tell our children what was like and it will be as if they were also present in the era.
In the 2ks,there are many sweet moments compare to the 90s.Young and old people now have a bright knowledge about the difference between the two era.For example, a cell phone is used in receiving calls and now a source of income to millions of people now was not in use bak then.Many can't afford to get one because of different reasons.Many things that are now of great importance to us.

Comparing the 90s to 2k, verily there are lots of gaps and differences in it.I prefer the 2k life to 90s if I were to choose....

Most people watched TV shows on large, boxy TVs, and cable TV was a new and exciting technology. In the 2000s, the internet began to change the way people consumed entertainment. Streaming services like Netflix and YouTube became popular, and people began to watch TV shows and movies on their computers and smartphones. The rise of social media also changed the way people consumed entertainment, with platforms like Instagram and TikTok allowing users to create and share their own content.

You are right, in the 90s not everyone had a TV in their home, but we couldn't watch movies everyday, if we had to watch movies, we all watched movies together. Happiness was high in those days. People gathered to watch the movie.

La educación en los 90's fue magistral... No había el avance tecnológico que tenemos en los 2000's pero, sorprendentemente un libro es más potente que el Internet además de que, no podemos dejar de lado que, en los 90's hasta exitían programas radiales educativos... Tengo entendido que en Venezuela muchos niños lograron aprender a resolver ejercicios mateméticos por medio de un programa radial que daban todas las mañanas y, se llamaba Matemáticas divertidas.
