Steemit Engagement Challenge - S13/W6: What are the top 5 things I look for online.
The first thing
Early in the morning when I wake, I head first to my Bible app (YouVersion) to read the Bible and my reading plan for the day.
Why? This is because I'm trying to build and discipline myself to always read at least a chapter of the Bible every day. Sometimes, reading with my hardcopy Bible makes me feel easily distracted, which is why I love the YouVersion Bible App where I can listen to the audio version and also read along.
This is important because it gives me a sense of belonging and satisfaction in starting my day with God. With that, I am certain that the day will be a good one.
The second thing
The second top thing I do online is to peruse through my Client's LinkedIn and Instagram pages. Currently, I work remotely as a social media manager for two brands; a book publishing brand and an HR firm. Every day, I post content online, track their analytics, do some web listening, and engage with their customers.
First, I check the results of the previous content I made and how well or badly they performed; this helps me to note down what I can do better the next week.
Secondly, I curate and create content using content pillars that I've already outlined. Then I batch-create the content for the week and schedule them using scheduling tools.
The third thing
The third thing I do online is to crawl through the internet for current trends and happenings in the digital marketing industry. A social media manager needs to be up on her toes and on the lookout for what's happening at the moment. A lot of things can change within seconds
The Fourth thing
The fourth thing I do online visits Steemit for the latest contests. A day doesn't pass without me checking the contest alert hashtags so I can find contest topics I can easily do together with my work. I also use the opportunity to read through quality content, comments, and upvotes.
The fifth one
The last thing I do when I come online is to catch up with friends and family. The daily hustle and bustle usually doesn't allow us to connect with our family. Sometimes we forget some of the schedules we made with them, but thankfully it has been made easier with WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Many others.

Hello @yuceetoria
I'm glad you got your hands busy doing lots of creative things online. Studying the Bible indeed imbibes discipline and blessings too. The shoes of a social media manager is not an easy role. I'm glad you look into into trend and find out how to improve brands you work on. Combining it with steemit is indeed a great deal of work. Success in the challenge my dear friend.
Being a social media manager is not easy ooo, but we move.
Starting the day with a spiritual anchor is powerful; the Bible app's versatility ensures your devotion isn't compromised. Managing social media remotely demands precise actions, from content assessment to scheduling, enabling consistent brand representation. Staying updated on digital marketing trends is crucial for strategy refinement. Steemit exploration for contests merges passion with work. Finally, leveraging platforms like WhatsApp for familial connection amidst a busy day is a beautiful way to keep relationships alive.
Internet made a lot of things easier for us. It sure has it's bad sides, but can be well managed.
Searching the scriptures is good and attempting to read at least a chapter of the Bible is good. The internet helps us to most of our online work faster and easier.
Doing multiple work online is very good since you have a good internet access. Of course with social media app, connecting to friends and family are made a lot easier. Good luck to you!
It sure does. Internet has its vices but if well manged, can be a huge ease to slsoke things.
