SEC-S16/W3 - "Who has the strongest influence on children? Father, mother, teacher, siblings, or friends?
Hello Friend! Welcome to another great moment here. This is another important topic to be shared with us. I have always liked topics that kids centered as they only let us know more mysteries about these special breeds and how best to handle them. There is no doubt that the different sets of persons have different influences and holds on our children.
How does a father have a strong influence on children? |

We all know that fathers are the head of the home just as instructed and learned by the holy book. They are the head of authority in every home and without any dispute are assumed to be the last hope of call in decision making. Hence, the kids grow up knowing some of these facts.
The father is most disciplinarian and not a monster or one hardened being who is not flexible. He is the firm pusher of normalcy and rules giver which tends to create a moral and courteous direction in the home.
Above all, the father is strongly viewed as the provider source of the hime despite the little or commensurate contributions of the wife. He tends to provide his needs ranging from shelter, feeding, clothing, education, health concerns, and other necessary obligations.
The children view this figure as being at home not only as a disciplinarian but as a close companion who has their needs and welfare as a priority. They do not joke or take less for what emanates from this god in human form.

There is something so spectacular about these two people. I would say that their bonding started when they were still in the womb. The love of mothers for their children is unequal and unparalleled when compared to others. This cannot be hidden from the children's imagination.
Despite how close they can be, she disciplines them with one hand and draws them close with the other hand. The mother figure is the epitome of a carrot and stick strategist. She is usually the children's intermediary and first point of contact.
The kids are seen to be naturally open and free to communicate with their mothers more than any other person. They see still low level that allows them easily to play with their mother despite the age difference and in so doing, there is underneath-built bonding.
How does the teacher have a strong influence on children? |

This is another influence we have to be careful about. The kind of school we put our children in is very important as this is one major influence that may make or make our kids. The school environment takes up to 8 hours of the child's time in a day. And this is usually during their active and sensitive time.
Invariably it means a great active kids time is spent in the school and this means a lot to us. The children see their teachers as mentors and heroes and whatever they say to them has a greater influence and role to play.
Have we ever wondered why it is difficult to correct kids during homework time with a different method other than the one taught by their teachers? You have to argue and explain yourself very well when your thoughts are not in line with what your teachers said
How do siblings have a strong influence on children? |

The best way to train younger children is to ensure their elderly siblings are on top of their game morally. The younger siblings tend to make their elderly in their heroes and guidance naturally. Whatever they see these do, they do them believing it is good.
It takes correcting the elderly ones to help them navigate the thinking direction of their younger siblings. It is usually easier to redirect them through their elderly siblings.
How do friends have a strong influence on children? |

Just like what we see from teachers, children also make friends in this school environment. Just as mentioned earlier, we have to be mindful of the schools we enroll in our wards. This matters a lot as the level of morality could be measured from the kid's behavior easily.
Usually, we have peer pressures and this is where our concern should major to help checkmate those our kids mingle with. It is always better to access their friends to make quick decisions to keep or chase them away.
The Children are our heritage, we should endeavor to make the best out of their existence by leading them right. At different influence points, it should be checked to ascertain they are better off with them.

My observation is that a mother's love truly knows no bounds. I've seen it in action countless times, from comforting a crying child to celebrating their achievements. It's a bond that's hard to match, and it's something special to witness.
In my opinion, teachers play a significant role in shaping young minds. I remember how my favorite teacher inspired me to pursue my dreams, guiding me through challenges and celebrating my successes. Their influence extends far beyond the classroom.
As a father, I've noticed that older siblings often serve as role models for the younger ones. I've seen how my eldest son looks up to his older sister, emulating her behavior and seeking her guidance. It's a dynamic that fosters growth and mutual support within the family.
