Steemit being an amazing platform is such that has principles that favour it's users. One of the principles is the power up initiative. In some blogging websites, you will rarely see a situation which involves saving. But in Steemit, power up refers to as the act by which the user saves a given percentage of his/her earning. This saving will permit the user to be in various club.

Club 5050 is for those who save 50% of their earning while withdrawing the other. Club 75 is for those who save 75% of their saving while withdrawing 25% of it. Club100 is for those who save 100% of their earning. With all clubs in mind, there are certain benefits the user can derive from the power up initiative. Before then, let me show you how I powered up my steems.

The Power Up Process

• First, you need to log in to your steemit wallet. This is important because you might be a suspect if you try accessing without the key.

• On your liquid steem, click the arrow to activate a pop up box. Then, click on power up

• On the next dialog box, input the number of steems you wish to power up and click power up.

• Click ok on the next dialog box and your steems will be powered up automatically.

Benefits Of Power Up

The power up initiative has brought lot of benefits to the users who commit themselves to it. Here are it's benefits:

• Increased Influence: Power up has greatly helped in increasing the influence of the user. It is observed that user who commit themselves to powering up has more influence than those who doesn't. It is because the more the steem power one possess, the more influence he/she will possess. This influence will be noticed in his/her upvoting. One will realize that voting power will possess some amount of weight.
• Author's Rewards: This is also another exciting benefits of the power up initiative. Imagine in an occasion, a man with $60 million worth walks into an occasion and a man with $1000 worth also walks in. The organizer of the event will certainly called up the man with the highest net worth to the high table. This means he's taking proper care of. In Steemit, users with high steem power as a result of power up has a great chance of being voted by top curators.
