Steemit as a blogging platform is a unique one which owns different rules prior to other blogging platform. This rule is what make it different from any other. One of the rule I'll love to talk about is the earning while withdrawing other. This type of saving involves changing from liquid steem to steem power. The process of saving is called Power-up.
Imagine a workplace which has a distinct rule. The rule is that every worker must pay a certain percentage of their earning to a cooperate account. This saving can be withdrawn by the workers anytime. This is similar to Steemit Platform. What does the power up initiative benefits the user? But first let me show you how I powered up my steem.

- The first step I take in order to power up is logging to my wallet. Im Steemit, you can't perform any operation without logging in.
- After logging in, I located my liquid steem and click the arrow beside it to show a pop up box.
- In the pop up box, click power up. On the next display, I inputed the number of steems I wish to power up and click power up.
- Click Ok in the next dialog box. Your steems will be successfully powered up.

In the power up scheme, the benefits to it's user includes
- Increased Influence: The user who is committed to the power up initiative will notice that he/she has more influence than other. This influence can be your upvote in other people's post. People who are devoted to power up and attained a high number of steem power can influence other people's post positively. The post's value in dollars can increase by $0.50, $1, $5 and so on depending on your influence. This explained phenomenon is named Voting Power.
Greater Net Value: It is said that a user's net worth is determined by his/her steem power. The amount of steem power in your wallet has an ability to work wonders. This wonder is the ability of top curators to vote on your posts. People with high number of steem power has a greater chance of being voted by top curators than those less value.
