HWC Contest #56|| POWERUP & WIN WEEK 42 by @urmilanath650 (64.166 SP)

How are you friends?? Hope everyone is well and happy by the grace of Almighty Krishna. I am also fine by His mercy. Today I am here to take part in the "POWERUP" contest organized by dear @jyoti-thelight. Many thanks to @jyoti-thelight mam for organizing this powerup contest every week for us. I powered up 64.166 steem to my steem power yesterday. I have come here to share the whole process of this powerup with you. Let's see the process.

I had 67.379 liquid steem and 4.550 steem dollars in my wallet as you see in the screenshot.

At first I have converted my steem dollars to liquid steem. I clicked on the drop down button just at right of the steem dollar. Then clicked on market.

Then I write the price and amount of steem I want to buy in exchange of steem dollars. Clicked on Buy.

Now my steem dollar is converted to liquid steem. As you see in the screenshot, I had 128.331 steem before powerup.

I have divided my to amount of steem by two as I wanted to convert half of my liquid steem to steem power. So I decided to powerup 64.166 steem.

I clicked on the drop down button just at right of the steem. Then selected power up from several options.

I wrote the amount of steem I powered up in the next page. And then clicked on power up.

Next page came and I clicked on OK. After signing in with my active key power up process is completed. An important point here is that don't keep logged in with your key. It's risky and your wallet has a chance to be hacked.

After powering up have a look into my wallet. My steem power is 341.063 now. And my liquid steem is reduced to half (64.165).

Powering up is very important and actually essential in steemit platform. Regular power up is required for maintaining club status. A club status is very important because we cannot participate in any contest organized by different communities without remaining in any club like club5050, club75 or club 100.

Users of steemit platform should power up at least once or twice in a month. This action makes them ideal users in steemit and makes their posts more visible to others. This also enhances the possibility of receiving support from curators.

To be successful in this steemit journey, regular power up is really essential for us. The more steem power you have the more strong your account is. So we should not stop powering up anyway.
