Drawing Tutorial: A village scene

Requirements

1. White paper
2. Pencil
3. Ruler
4. Eraser
5. Sharpner
6. Color pencils / oil pastel colors

Procedure

♦Step 1: Draw a big tree. First draw the trunk then the leaf bush of the tree.

♦Step 2: Draw two huts at the central side of the paper using ruler. Draw the windows and doors of the huts.

♦Step 3: Draw a hen at the yard of the house.

• Draw the 'C' shaped back, then slightly 'U' shaped head area where draw a slightly curved small area for drawing the beak.

• Then draw the tail area by drawing curved feathers.

• Draw the leags; each feet contains 4 toes, 3 at front and one at back side. Draw feathers inside body edges; draw the beak and eye.

Draw some baby chicken around the hen. Draw the round shaped head and waved body area. Draw the beak, eye, and legs.

♦Step 4: Now draw a dry tree branch beside the huts. Then draw a creeper of malabar spinach that get over the branch. Draw the the leaves like Malabar spinach.

♦Step 5:

• Highlight the edges of figures using black color pen.

• I've colored the tree with three green shades and yellow; colored the tree trunk by blending two chocolate shades and brown color.

• Then I've colored the huts by blending yellow, orange, brown and chocolate colors.

• Colored the creeper with green and the wooden branch with chocolate color.

• Colored the chickens with yellow and orange, legs with brown and beak with red color.

• Colored the yard by blending brown, yellow and green colors. Then draw some kestrels at the sky using black color pen.

• Then colored the sky with blue.

And the drawing is completed..
