Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W5 - "If you had the opportunity to settle overseas, which three countries would you choose?
Greetings to the beloved steem community. I'm excited for this contest, and want to leave my thoughts on the topic. I want to appreciate the Hindwhale Community for their efforts thus far in the engagement challenge this season.

Immigration is the process that involves changing the location where one resides permanently. It is moving to a different country from where one is to settle in the new location. It offers a chance to start a new chapter of ones life in a new country, accepting a new culture and being a part of a new community. Different reasons prompt a person's decision to relocate or migrate and seeking better opportunities, reuniting with family just tops the lot of reasons. Immigration must be done legally or else there would be grave consequences which usually ends in deportation. The legal processes to get into a country might slightly vary due to the country's immigration policies as well as the reason for immigration. Some common requirements may include: Valid passport, Visa, Background check, Financial status, Health and medical requirements and in most cases Language proficiency.

The three countries I'll love to settle overseas would be France, Italy and Australia. The French are known for their love for art, fashion and cuisine, creating a lovely culture to be a part of. They also have a beautiful culture as well as a lot of Africans amongst them, so it's both a beautiful sight to see and a place to aspire to be.
Italy is a country with an abundant passion for food, family and fashion. They also have a rich culture. They're home to ancient architecture, stunning landscapes. They're the home of pizza, pasta and gelato which is now accepted worldwide.
The Aussies are quite interesting, I've wondered why a country would make it as a continent so many times. Why weren't they a part of Asia. They're a people who love outdoor activities and have diverse wildlife and beautiful landscape.
Which First Country do you wish to migrate to, and how does its employment, rules and regulations, defence, and income benefit you? |

The first country I wish to migrate to us France. France has quite a strong black community. France offers a legally established minimum wage and a standard work time which promotes better work life balance. They also have a good social security ensuring healthcare coverage for all employees. Their laws are inclusive to protect workers rights. They also offer low cost healthcare, unemployment insurance and pensions and do well to support families with assistance for children.

The second country I'll love to migrate to is Italy. When times get hard, there is a line of encouragement that states Rome was not built in a day. Referring to the effort put in to build the beautiful city. I'll love to see Rome, it's ancient architecture and all. Italy's minimum wage is set my law as well as it's working hours. They have a strong social security that provides healthcare coverage and other benefits for workers. Their labour laws are solid to protect workers and even do their best to protect against discrimination. Italy offers unemployment benefits, pensions, family supports and a few things to help a person's income.

The third county I'll wish to relocate to is Australia. Australia has a diverse and dynamic economy with a wide range of job opportunities. They also have a minimum wage set by law and labour laws that protect working hours, leave and pension. Their social security system covers health care, unemployment benefits, pensions, child allowances etc.

Each country is unique with it's laws and regulations with a possibility for these laws to change over time, however, before a person migrates, it is important to understand the laws of the given place he/she would want to migrate to in order to stay within the confines of doing right.

France and Italy are two European countries that I love very much.
What a good example of Italy mentioning that "Rome was not built in a day" and it is true, very right.
But both Italy and France have a very striking culture and history, apart from the secular and work-related areas. Even so, they are both good options for living.
