RE: Steemit Engagement Challenge S11/W1 - Perhaps if man had not invented fire, what would this earth have looked like?
It is very well and thoughtful written, I would call it essay. You started nicely from the early days the place and time of probable first acquaintance of human species with fire. Who knows how and if it was an accident but it was a luck that people learned that it is not only a source of warmth but could be used for many things, especially for our food. I can imagine early human having meat grilled under open fire and their surprise to find how tasty it is :)
Of course, there are dangerous side of fire that perhaps our ancestors learnt on their own experience. Wishing you success with the challenge!

thank you very much for commenting. This is a topic that somewhat links history with the anthropological, both are areas that I like, that's why I expanded a bit too. I also think that discovering the use of fire for cooking could have been something accidental, perhaps a fire in a forest that consumed some animals, and later they realized, when eating it, that it had a different flavor. Everything has a place here.
