If you lived in both generations, like 90s and 2k which one did you like the most?

Although, I have not lived in the 90s, but still I have a lot of knowledge about different areas of that decade. There are many stories and incidents that are told by my mother, father, grand parents and other relatives who have lived in that era. That's why, I have a complete reflectory image of that decade in my mind.

According to those stories and incidents, it is easy for me to guess which era is more pleasant. If I have to chose the one from 90s and 20s, I will select the era of 20s because of number of reasons. The most important reason is that the 20s is the more advanced era than the 90s and there are more facilities that were present there as compared to the previous one. These facilities could be in any sector or field.

How is school life now, and what was it like in the nineties?

As I have said earlier that I have not lived in the nineties but I have an image of every field that I have reflected from the stories and talks of my elder ones. Talking about the education system of 90s then off course it was bad than the 20s as the public make progress in the next decade.

I have listened from my elder ones that there were no common schools in all the towns, or even the villages, just like we see today. There were few schools in the whole city and people from different areas come there to study. Moreover, the study facilities were very bad as compared to today.

Compare 90s entertainment with 2K entertainment.

Well, I have listened from my elders that there were no common digital devices in 90s and a very few people in the whole street have the television and all of the ladies, children and old ones went to their homes and watch television where different films, TV shows and news were casted. Moreover, the people of that decade prefer the physical entertainment sources over the virtual sources.

But talking about the twenties, the digital devices got popularity in that decade. Now, we know that even the born child are aware about the phones, laptops and other digital devices. The entertainment is limited to the phones and TV screens. Many less people prefer the physical sources of entertainment. So this is a drawback, I think.

Compare 90's and 2K's games/sports

This is actually the field which could be difficult to make different between the nineties and twenties. The games and sports of both of these decades were almost same. In both decades the most popular games have been Football, Cricket, Snooker, Tennis, Squash, etc and we can see that these sports are still on trending in this era as well.

Compare the sweets from the 90s and the 2Ks.

There is a lot difference between the food products of both of these decades. We all know that the food industry is the one industry which make progress very quickly and continuously. If we talk about nineties, most of the sweets were prepared in the homes. The popular sweets of nineties are Jalebi, Kheer, Zarda, Halwa, etc.

On the other hand, if we will look on the sweets of the twenties then we will see a lot of difference between them. Many artificial sweets were also introduced in this decade and we are still seeing that new and new sweet products are introduced in the market on daily basis. So, these are some things which make differences.

I would like to invite my friends @malikusman1, @abdullahw2 and @kouba01 to be a part of this amazing contest.

You want to keep up with the times without falling under the spell of the 90s. You are focusing more on the present. You like the progress of the present and you have adapted yourself to it.

Yes, thanks for comment

Hello @steemdoctor1. As usual, interesting post....

In terms of entertainment, the '90s were all about TV, music, and movies. MTV was still a cultural force, and people would flock to the theaters to see the latest blockbuster hits. There was no streaming, no social media influencers, and no YouTube. In the 2000s, digital technology changed everything. People began to consume entertainment differently, streaming content and sharing their own creations online. Entertainment also became more interactive, with the rise of video games and social media influencers. The way we experience entertainment was transformed forever...
For starters, the way students socialized and connected in the '90s was very different from the way they did in the 2000s. In the '90s, students mostly socialized in person, either at school or through extracurricular activities. They might talk on the phone or exchange handwritten letters, but there was no social media or texting. In the 2000s, the advent of social media and cell phones changed everything. Students could connect and communicate with each other instantly, 24/7. This had both positive and negative effects on socialization and mental health.

In the '90s, kids in Nigeria would play mostly outdoor games, like soccer, hide-and-seek, and traditional games like ayo. Video games were not as common, and even if they were available, not many people had the means to play them. In the 2000s, video games became much more accessible and affordable, and kids in Nigeria began to play them in greater numbers. Gaming also became a more social experience, as kids could now play online with friends and strangers. Traditional games like ayo also began to make a comeback, with online communities and tournaments springing up....

Thanks for sharing and good luck with the challenge.....
