Good morning everyone. Am here to drop another power up post and today I will make it exceptionaI and outstanding. Is very good to power up our steem weekly because it enables us to grow faster in steemit as our steem power begins to increase. I thank @jyoti-thelight for organizing this contest.

Steps in powering up

That process whereby we convert our liquid steem to steem power is known as Power up and am a big fan of this activity. Please check the steps below.

Step 1

First of all you login into your wallet by copying your posting key and copying it in the box provided. I had 39.8 steem and 1,150 steem power before I powered up.

This is to show that I will be powering up 39.8 steem today.

Step 2

After that you click that little arrow beside the number of your steem and then a short page will appear, indicating transfer, transfer to savings, power up, trade, and market.

Our intention here is to power up so we will just quickly tap the power up button, is not really difficult for a beginner.

Step 3

After doing so another page will appear and we will be able to fill in the amount of steem we want to power up.

Since I will be powering up 39.8 steem, I decided to fill 39.8 in the box provided and then tap on the power up button.

Step 4

Once you click the power up button, another page will appear, requesting for your active key.The next thing to do is to go to your wallet and copy your active key then paste it inside the box provided.

Then you click sign in and then the process gets complete. My steem is now 0 and my steem power is now 1,190.

Importance of powering up

When we power up in steemit we are greatly helping ourselves the most and not others because we benefit alot when we power up, the following are the importance.

• It brings many investors because they will believe most steemians doesn't like powering down.

• It increases our influence in the platform which is very good.

• It helps us to be in a suitable club status of our choice.

• It gives us opportunities to apply for some particular roles in different communities once our steem power is up to the required steem power a steemian applying must have.
