S19/W1 - "Power of communication skill"

Talking about communication skills is very important. I want to introduce myself first to all of you. I am a computer teacher at school and communication skills are very important to me. Where I have to be able to speak and convey material to students so that they can easily understand what I explain. By explaining the material correctly and easily understood by students, of course all of these things must have communication skills.

Good communication skills are very necessary in the world of work. People who are able to express themselves positively through clear behavior, whether through words or writing, then that person has a way of conveying good messages to other people. With clear communication you can avoid misunderstandings and potential conflicts with other people.

One of the basic human needs is the need to understand and be understood. Listening is one of the best efforts to understand other people. Listen carefully to other people's words with all your body's strength and soul awareness, but avoid interrupting and disturbing people while they are talking.

When speaking, try to speak clearly, articulately and concisely. Talking a lot does not mean that other people can understand it because sometimes talking a little is enough to summarize the message you want to convey.

Strong communication requires an open mind without inserting other agendas into it. If you don't agree with someone else's thoughts, then try to respect their views and find a middle ground that benefits all parties. Often, an open-minded approach to communication will result in success.

A simple example of communication skills is when we hang out with friends. Our friend tells us about the problem he is experiencing and asks for our opinion regarding the problem.

However, instead of listening well and providing solutions after our friend has finished telling the story, we often interrupt the conversation. As a result, the information we capture is less than optimal and we cannot provide good solutions.

Another example that often occurs is when we want to send an email to parties who will collaborate with our company. In conditions like these, inappropriate communication can damage our professional relationships. If conveying our message through writing is not good, misunderstandings could occur and our image will be considered bad. If the email we send is too short or ambiguous, the other party may feel ignored or confused. If we are too rigid and show no signs of warmth or concern towards potential business partners, they will not feel chemistry with us.
