Today I am here to participate in another new contest organized by @pea07 mam. Thanks, Hindwhale community and mam for organizing this beautiful contest. Now everyone loves to watch movies. Through this contest, we will get to know about many motivational movies that may help us in some aspect of our lives.I will now start my participation without further ado.

Which movie motivates you the most? Share a description of the movie if possible with movie link.

The movie that most motivated me was The Shawshank Redemption. In this film, Andy, the husband, is suspected of killing his spouse after he discovers her having an affair. He was sent to the Shawshank prison one of the harshest prisons. Through this movie, the pain of an incarcerated person is presented to us. How Andy embraces the difficult life organizes his life and becomes loved by all. He clings to hope that one day things might turn out to be better for him and he becomes compassionate about his newly found friends. He had all the hardships to give up hope but he just kept on pushing and laid out a plan when everyone tried to use him. He executed that plan with precision and through patience he prevailed. Upon escaping prison and providing justice to those who deserve it, he vanished under a new name and invited his friend Red to visit.

What is your emotional response to this movie?

There are lots of emotional scenes present in this movie. One of them is when Brooks names an old man who spent his entire adulthood in prison when released into society he has a tough time coping and commits suicide due to depression. Because he hadn’t set foot out of the prison for a long time it is really hard for him to cope with present-day society. Another emotional scene portrays Andy the main protagonist is found innocent but the prison warden wants to take advantage and kills the only witness tied to Andy’s case thus pushing Andy to depression even to the point of losing hope of ever getting out of prison.

How this movie motivated you?

In the movie, I was fascinated by how Andy kept his patience and calm despite all the hardships that he was met with. I acquired new skills such as appreciating what I already had and exercising patience and discernment in handling circumstances. This movie also taught me to live my life to the fullest as Andy stated in the movie “Get busy living or get busy dying”. It is among the most motivational movie phrases.

Why would you recomened someone to watch this movie?

This is a film that I would suggest to others since it teaches viewers important life lessons and has a lot of subliminal messages. The movie script is well-written and the scenes well performed. I would recommend this movie because this movie tries to show scenarios of something that very few movies have ever tried which is hardships and mistreatment in prison. I have never once seen an unrealistic scenario in this movie.
