Venezuela is the world oldest democratic country. It got independent in July 5, 1811. I have read this date in an article of one of the steemians here. I was shocked to hear that Venezuela is that much oldest democratic country. I hope people are having peaceful life there.

Actualmente no es un país que vive en Democracia... Ciertamente, nos independizamos de España pero, como lo mencioné, desde 1.999 la Democracia comenzó a perderse. Esperamos que en algún momento las cosas mejoren porque, es incómodo vivir en un país conflictivo.
