This is my participation in a contest POWERUP AND WIN STEEMS organized in Hindwhale Community by @hindwhale.

This blog is about: how to power up your Steemit account and what is it's Importance for you. Powering up is too much Important in Steemit. It helps grow your account and increases the influence and reputation of your account. The more liquid steem you used, the more your account will be powered up and the stronger your account will get.

I will obviously use my own liquid steem here to power up my account. For power up you must keep in mind that you should have liquid steem in your account. Those liquid steem you can use for powering up your account.

There are two ways of getting liquid steem. One you can earn through your own content: you have to write your own blog, participate in different Contest and through commenting. This is one way of getting Steem coin, and it is completely depend upon your hardwork and struggle. The more you are passionate and work here, the more you can earn from here.

The second method is buying Steem coin from different crypto exchanges, and then you can deposit it in your Steemit account and power it up. In Binanace the current value of Steem coin is $0.1823, almost 0.18 cents. You may see it here in screenshot.

Powering up your Steemit account is an easy process, even a ten year old child can do it.

The first thing you need to go to your wallet.

You will be shown all your liquid steem here. You can see a total steem power here too. Simply you have to click on the liquid steem.

In next step: go click on that steem and then click on power up option.

You will be shown such an enterface, select the steem you want to use for power up. I have just 5 steems with me, so I am using all of them for power up operation. Click on power up option.

In very last stage they will ask for your Active key or private posting key.

Hurrah ! Your account is powered up. You can see it here. My steem power was 481 before and now it's 486. Those 5 liquid steem also became zero.

This is the whole procedure you power up your account with. It really an easy process just follow the commands.

Powering up give you a steem power, and Steem power is too much important for a steemian. It shows the influence and strength of your account. Those accounts with more steem power are supposed to be the powerful accounts.

It's benefit for steemian is: You will have more chances of getting rewards. You may get a chance of becoming a MOD or an Admin in a community. Even you can run your own community if you have a good fan base. More people will follow you if you have good steem power. Plus you can manage your voting power if you have more steem power.
