"Weekly Contest 06 || The Diary Game || Went to Sethma Hospital to consult a doctor for my sister.

Hello, @m-fdo, this week I persuaded myself to participate in the diary game contest organized by Hind Whale Community, as I hadn't written my diary in a long time. For this competition, I'd like to write about my day on August 24, 2023.

Morning

I awoke as usual at around 6:30 a.m., began my routine work, and prepared our breakfast, which we ate at around 8:30 a.m. While I was eating my breakfast, I received a phone call from my sister, who informed me that she had been suffering from constipation for several days, even though she had consumed numerous medicinal drinks and foods. Then I advised her to contact their family doctor and get the name of the specialist for those diseases. I made a phone appointment with Dr. Eranga Perera, who was coming to Sethma Hospital at around 6:30 p.m. because her family doctor had recommended him. I promised to accompany her because her only son was in charge of their supermarket. Her daughter-in-law must stay with their two-year-old child.

Because I promised to accompany her, I quickly prepared food for our lunch and dinner because I wouldn't be able to arrive before 8 p.m.

Afternoon

After I finished preparing the meal, I opened Steemit and spent about two hours posting an entry, commenting, and voting on other people's entries. Later, I took a shower and ate my lunch, and after an hour of eating, I took a short nap. Around 4 p.m., I sat down at the computer to do some work on Steemit while eating biscuits and drinking a cup of tea.

Evening.

My sister had agreed to pick me up at 6 p.m. I prepared myself in anticipation of her arrival. She arrived at my house around 6.15 a.m., and we both went to Arogya Hospital to meet our doctor. By the time we arrived, the doctor had already left for urgent surgery in the same hospital. Until the doctor returned, we paid the channel charges and went to room 11 as the doctor came to that room. When the doctor arrived another half hour later, we handed over our channel receipt to the nurse who was caring for that doctor. We had to stay for another hour because our number was number 6.

When our number was called, we both went inside and met the doctor. After hearing all of my sister's symptoms of the disease, the doctor asked her to get up on the bed for an examination. Following an examination, the doctor advised my sister to undergo blood tests and a colonoscopy. Those colonoscopy can be done only from Gampaha Arogya Hospital he asked us to come to the Arogya hospital tomorrow around 5:30 a.m. to have those tests done.

Then we went to Arogya Hospital and paid the necessary fees to reserve the theater for my sister's surgery. We went to the same hospital's pharmacy to purchase some medications that the doctor had recommended. It was around 9.00 p.m. when my sister dropped me at my house. Because I was too late, my husband had already eaten his dinner, so I had to get my one alone. After finishing my dinner, I went to bed saying goodbye to another beautiful day.
