“My Train Journey by @senehasa”
Hello, Hind Whale Community, last time I missed the contest which was organized by my favorite community. No worries, I have another contest, that was amazing as the train journey. Hello, @deepak94 thanks for giving us such a sweet topic to write in this contest. Now let us move to the title without wasting our time.
• Share your favorite Train Journey.
Since the cost of transportation has increased significantly as a result of the global crisis, we now rely on taking trains for our longer trips. I had already talked about our most recent trip to Ella on this platform. Therefore, I decided to write about our journey to Badulla on December 15 of last year. We have to reserve our tickets one month before as it is very challenging to reserve a ticket. The cost for a first-class ticket per person was Rs. 3000.00. We booked the Podi Menike express train which left from Colombo at 5.55 a.m., and we boarded it at Gampaha Railway Station around 6.35 a.m.
The train stopped at Gampaha, Veyangoda, Polgahawela, Rambukkana, Peradeniya, Kandy, Nawalapitiya, Nanuoya, Haputale, Diyatalawa, Bandarawela, Ella, and Badulla during our tour to Badulla.
We could drop from Badulla railway station at about 5.30 p.m. Train travel is the fastest travel method because there was little road congestion. One of the main benefits of using the train was that we could arrive at our destination without being too tired. On the route from Kandy to Badulla, we could pass by several interesting photo shoots. We were able to travel through a variety of tunnels, lush green tea estates, and waterfalls while having a pleasant and joyful ride. The train had every convenience, including a dining room table, comfortable seats, a holding tank for waste, and restrooms. Along the way, we enjoyed the journey by seeing the beautiful scenery.
• Who was with you on that trip?
We usually travel on family vacations with my son and his wife, my sister's family, myself, and my husband. As the crowd consisted of eight persons, making the journey both intriguing and entertaining.
• Any funny anecdote on that trip that makes you memorable?
Because of how chilly and misty the Badulla was, we felt very uneasy. At night before our dinner, we all took shots of beer to warm our bodies. As my sister drank more beer than was permitted, she behaved inappropriately by talking and laughing excessively. We had a great time witnessing her odd actions.

You have good experienced entering Train. Although, I haven't enter train before because in my country we don't have much.
The trains are our public transport. We have CTB buses also that is also public transport. In addition, we have private buses, tuk-tuk, motor bicycles, and staff transport services for office workers. In your country what are public transport services?
