I wake up at 8:30 am. I brush my teeth and get fresh. I ate khichuri this morning. The intensity of winter is very high since last few days. So wake up a little late. Today I will visit another char of river jamuna. The name of this char is Gobindpur. Gobindpur is located in Bhuapur upazila of Tangail district. I have heard its name many times but never visited it before. Going to this place will be a bit difficult today. At ten in the morning I left home with my motorcycle.

Reached Gopalpur Petrol Pump at 10:30am. From there I filled the motorcycle with oil and left for Hamnagar. A friend of mine was waiting for me in Hamnagar. After reaching there, I went to Nalin Bazar with my friend. From here we will board the boat. I will keep the motorcycle here at a relative's house. The water in jamuna river is very low now. Direct boats are available from Nalin Bazar Ghat to Gobindpur at 8 AM. As we arrived late, we could not board that boat. I got into another boat. We will be dropped in a nearby pasture.

The fare per person on this boat is 15 taka. We got off the boat and walked about four kilometers. Went there and boarded another boat and went down to another pasture. The boat fare is Tk 10 per person. After getting off the boat, we walked another two and a half kilometers to reach Gobindpur. It was very nice to walk through the char. I love walking in winter.

I saw that horse carts are very common in this area. There is a market in Gobindpur two days a week. Before entering the market, I saw that almonds and mustard were left to dry. Traders bought them and let them dry here. Then send to different districts of the country. We explored the whole market very well. My friend and I had lunch at a hotel here.

The water of jamuna river looks very beautiful in dry season. We stayed here for two hours. On my way back I took some sweets. We set off on foot. The people of Char always spend their days in uncertainty. Houses can disappear into the river at any moment. On my way back I noticed a lot of crowd in the boat I boarded. Everyone came to Gobindpur to market.

I came to Nalin Bazar at five o'clock in the afternoon. Today I took several photographs to keep as memories. I said goodbye to my friend and left for my home. I reached home at seven o'clock in the evening. I have walked a lot today, so my body is very tired. Have dinner at 9 pm. I want to sleep at ten o'clock. I had a wonderful day. I like to travel to new places. I am a travel crazy person.
