Weekly Contest 06 || The Diary Game || A holiday Monday after a while(28- Aug 2023)

Hello friends. I hope you are all well. Today I am going to participate the contest which known as "Weekly Contest 06 || The Diary Game" organized by @m-fdo. First of all I have to thank her coming up with such an beautiful contest. I am currently working in a company in India. Even though today is Monday, today is a special holiday for us. So this is my routine this holiday.

Morning time

Today is a holiday so I got up at 7 am. I got up after being lazy and made a tea. At home, mother makes tea. But now I want to make tea by myself. At that time I remembered my mother's love. So I started the day after drinking a cup of tea. After drinking that tea, I felt refreshed.

After that I brushed my teeth in the morning and took a bath. Bathing in the morning makes the body healthy. Then I had breakfast. I was too lazy to cook in the morning so I ate bread for breakfast. The bread that was brought earlier was left over. There was also a peanut butter. So I ate the bread with peanut butter. This picture is my breakfast.

Breakfast is over by 8 am. Then I turned on the laptop. Spent time on Steemit as usual. I read many articles. When you are with Steemit, you don't feel time passing. I was on Steemit until around 12.30pm.

Afternoon time

After that I went for lunch. Indian food is very similar to Sri Lankan food. So I ate with gusto. Had chicken devil, lentil curry and vegetable curry with white rice for lunch. I also added some pickles to the food. So the food was more delicious. I cut a guava for dessert. I ate my fill.

Lunch was over by 1pm. Then a friend called me to play carrom. I am not a good carrom player. But at the friend's request I also had to play. We played about 5 rounds. I lost all of them. We played till around 3 pm.

After that I worked in the garden. All the flower beds were overgrown with weeds. There was no time to clean because it was busy. So me and a friend cleaned it all. The work was finished at around 4.30 pm. It's beautiful when it's all cleaned up. I felt happy.

Then it's tea time. So we both got together and made tea. We ate samosas with tea. There is a bakery nearby. We bought samosas from it. They are very tasty. Samosa is a famous snack in India. Its prices are as follows.

• 1 piece = 20 Indian rupee
• 1 piece = 0.24 USD
• 1 piece = 1.56 steem

Then we played badminton. Badminton is my favorite sport. We played till around 6.30 pm. After that I had a good bath. That's how the evening passed.

The night

Then I went for dinner. Had lentil curry, eggs and vegetable curry with white rice for dinner.

Dinner ended at 7:30 pm. Then I went to watch TV. Tele dramas were aired on almost every channel. I don't like it. So I watched a cricket match till 10 pm. Then brush your teeth. Finally came to sleep around 10.30 pm. This is my single bed. Have a good night.

That's how my holiday was spent. It was a lovely holiday. I played carrom, worked in the garden, played badminton and watched a match. I had a lot of fun that way. Finally, I would like to invite @sudaraka96, @sandimal, @damithudaya to this contest.
