Steemit Engagement Challenge / SEC-S19 / W3 | "Money or Peace?"
On this occasion I will take part in a Steemit Engagement Challenge (SEC) entitled "Money or Peace?" I hope that all my friends will be willing to read and give their responses.
In choosing between money and peace, many feel peace is more valuable. Money can buy comfort and necessities, but it does not always guarantee inner peace. Peace allows a person to live life peacefully, free from stress and anxiety. Living in peace brings true happiness and satisfaction. Although money is important, without peace, material abundance loses its meaning. So, prioritize peace as the foundation of life's happiness.
This question is profound and relevant in today's global context. There is an argument that much of the conflict and tension in modern society is fueled by economic interests. The desire for profit can often come at the expense of values such as peace and justice. For example, exploitation of natural resources in various countries often triggers conflict and social tension.
However, there is also the view that a strong economy can create stability and opportunities that can support peace. When people have access to decent jobs and economic stability, they tend to be more supportive of peace and social cooperation.
So, the answer to this question can be very complex and depends on a variety of factors, including government policy, business ethics, and how society balances economic achievement and human values.
Spending after earning and saving is a wiser choice. With this approach, we ensure that basic needs and financial obligations are met before allocating money to other things. Saving before spending helps us create an emergency fund, plan for the future, and avoid unnecessary debt.
On the other hand, if we spend first and then think about income and saving, there is a big risk that we run out of money before important needs are met. This pattern can lead to the habit of living paycheck to paycheck and increase financial stress and risk of debt.
Saving also helps us achieve long-term goals such as children's education, retirement, or purchasing a large asset. The discipline of saving and spending wisely provides financial security and peace of mind.
By prioritizing income and saving before spending, we manage our finances in a more planned and wise manner, thereby increasing long-term financial well-being.
Apart from money, the things that bring me peace and happiness are meaningful and deep relationships with those closest to me. Time spent with family and friends brings true happiness. In addition, interacting with nature, such as walking on the beach, climbing a mountain, or just sitting in the park, helps relieve stress and provides inner peace.
Having a hobby also plays a big role. Reading books, listening to music, watching movies, or gardening provide happiness and satisfaction. Additionally, living life with a clear purpose, such as helping others or engaging in social activities, provides a sense of satisfaction and meaning.
Meditation and mindfulness practices also help calm the mind and bring peace. Good physical health through exercise and a balanced diet also provides positive energy and happiness. Lastly, feeling grateful for what you have helps maintain a positive perspective in everyday life.
