If It Were You, What Would You Have Done

Good day steemians and happy Sunday to you all, how are you all doing today? And thanks for reading my today's post I really appreciate it. Like the say there are things going on in this world that we have no idea about

Which in my today's entry I will be sharing with you all a somehow mysterious but tragic story a young man shared with me two days back which was on Friday the 19th of April.

The young man in the above picture goes by the name ubong and he is from an interior village in the anang tribe though I don't really remember the actual name of the village

On that Friday after I came back from my JAMB exams and came out later in the day to our shop I saw this young man just hanging around making lots of calls and even threatening the person with police arrest

So hearing that I waited a while for him to finish off his call then I called him and asked him what's going on? And what he told me was a big shock to me.

He started by saying that he didn't have an account (bank account) and he was expecting huge amount of money from the work he did and the amount was 657,000 naira which is equivalent to 1447 steem, so according to him in other to receive the money he went to the bank with the intention of opening an account.

And the name of the bank he went to was keystone bank, so he was told to come back the next day that his account will be ready, so according to him he later came back the next day and the banker said to him that they are having network 🛜 issues

Then since to this guy, he is in the bank and he trusted them so he said since he is expecting this money urgently that the banker should give him his bank details so that he will give them to those who wanted to send him money, so that when his account is ready he will then transfer the money into the account.

It was a nice business proposal as the man even offered to give him some commission at the end of it, which that was done and the money was sent to the bankers account then after some weeks his account was ready now the issue at hand now is he came and told the banker please transfer my money to my newly created account.

But according to him it has been since last year December up till now the banker hasn't transferred the money to him and to make matters worse he said that his wife is very sick and he even showed me the picture and his wife's leg was very big and I think it's a spiritual attack

So each time he asked the banker to transfer the money to him the banker kept giving him excuses and lastly the banker said that he ran into some personal problems so he used the money that he's going to pay him back that he shouldn't report to the manager

But the guy on the other was at a stage of climax because his wife was very sick and he needed the money to take care of his wife's medications, and that Friday since his wife's health was getting worse the man came to look for the banker but couldn't find him in the bank so he reported the case to the manager and threatened the bank with police arrest.

But the manager told him to calm down and come back on Monday that the banker is going to be here and he must definitely pay him back his money.
