Kabaddi game is very popular in our country. When all of India was together, this game would have originated. But I also know that this game was organized during the battle of Kurukshetra.

But history says that when people lived in caves, forests, it was a struggling life. Humans had to constantly exert physical strength. After that people considered kabaddi as a form of physical exercise.

This is how the game of Kabaddi spread to every nook and cranny of the countryside. It gradually became popular. This game started everywhere in Bangladesh.

People also enjoy and participate. Due to this popularity and the fact that the game is known everywhere, the game became a national game.

👉 Is that game played in international competitions like the Olympics or other world championships?

Bangladesh won the bronze medal once by participating in the Asia Cup. Kabaddi is not included in the Olympics. I have not enjoyed any event as big as cricket or football. However, this game is still very popular in several South Asian countries.

And the national competition of our country and the popularity of this game is losing day by day. But in rural areas this game is still played during winter.

Of course, I think if the good boys of my country are given an opportunity at the international level, then they can shine the face of the country.

I really like the game of some of the current kabaddi players and their playing technique. Like, Raju Ahmed, Kamal Hossain, Kazi Yunus Ahmed and Khalek, there are also many others.

Of course, our country's favorite and national sport is Kabaddi. Although people are looking towards it for many modern games. Still Kabaddi game is still more popular than other sports.

It is like a game that is ingrained in Bengali existence. Just hearing the name of Kabaddi makes the mind dance with joy. Kabaddi does not require modern technology to play. This game is bound by rules.

Conclusion:

Variations in national and popular games of different countries. There is a remarkable history behind becoming a national game. Similarly, there is a history behind kabaddi being the national sport of my country.
