Explain the difference between bookish knowledge and practical knowledge.

INTRODUCTION:
Before I should explain the difference between bookish knowledge and practical knowledge to us. I will briefly explain what knowledge means.
Knowledge can simply be seen as an information about something that someone has in his mind, or an understanding that a person person has about something in his/her mind.

Therefore the difference between bookish knowledge and practical knowledge are as follows:

1. The first difference between bookish and practical knowledge is that bookish knowledge is is gotten or known through formal education, through studying, and also through reading of books or texts, and it's majorly concerned with theories, set standards/principles and historical data. Whereas practical knowledge is gained through the application of the theoretical concepts, solving of real world problems, through experiences etc.

2. Another difference between bookish and practical knowledge is that, it makes provision for better understanding and different concepts and theories. While practical knowledge on the other hand, requires the application of the theoretical concepts to solving real life challenges and problems.

3. Bookish knowledge is more easier than the practical knowledge. Bookish knowledge deals with majorly just theories, concepts, and studying that makes it easier and easy to gain. But practical knowledge requires lot of practical and experiences, so a person need to pay full attention and be observant before it can be gained that makes it harder to gain than the bookish knowledge.

In summary, bookish knowledge is based on theoretical concepts, whereas the practical knowledge deals with the application of this theoretical concepts in solving real life challenges. So the both compliment each other.

Which knowledge (bookish knowledge and practical knowledge ) has more impact in our life?

Base on my own view I think the practical knowledge has more impact in our lives, because the bookish knowledge is virtually everything about learning, studying and reading through the theoretical aspects of things, it doesn't necessarily requires the application so it doesn't have much impact in our lives.

But the practical knowledge enable us to develop those theories, apply them to our lives and then gain hand on experiences so it has more impact in our lives than the bookish knowledge. Practical knowledge leads to a wider understanding about concepts by the act of personal experiences, often, experience usually has alot of impact in our lives that makes the practical knowledge more impactful in life.

What kind of knowledge does a person gain experience from?

Okay.... between the two knowledges we are considering in this contest, the (bookish and practical) the kind of knowledge that a person gain experience from is the practical knowledge, cause it is the kind knowledge that allows the applications of theoretical concepts, without application experience can't be gained. Therefore practical knowledge is the kind of knowledge that a person gain experience from.

Does practical knowledge bring us face to face with life experience? Express your views on this.

Yes, practical knowledge brings us face to face with the life experiences. Practical knowledge is very paramount for our every day living as it enable us to apply what we have learned from the bookish knowledge to solving real world problems, and handle a lot of challenges effectively, it helps us in adapting to different circumstances and gain experiences as well.

Practical knowledge in one way or the other contribute alot in our lives, it helps us to succeed and through application of the theoretical concepts, it results to alot of experiences in life.

In conclusion: we should learn how to balance both the bookish and practical knowledge together, we should read books and learn from it, them apply it to our lives in order to be able to solve life challenging problems as well develop our skill.
