Mr Johnson is a family man, a respected being in the society. Not just being respectful everyone love to mention his family as an example because they have good standards. His children lives a good life which makes him proud everyday as he train and nurture them in a proper and Christian way. But along the line, one of his son lives opposite of his life. He smoke, and possessed bad characters. What do you have to say about Mr Johnson family, is he responsible for his son bad character?

The holy book(bible) make us to understand that we should train our children in a way he should go so that when he grows up he will not depart from it. And it's actually correct because training a child in a proper way, make him a better person in the future. But what if it turns out to be what it not expected?

Let me use this Common example to illustrate how parenting affects child behavior. Imagine a child is trained by a parent who happens to be a teacher. That child will likely to be intelligent and smart in way of solving problem. But that doesn't means that all the children trains by parents who are teachers will be smart.

In addition to that parents have a certain roles in molding a child for future purposes. No parents will want his or her children to be criminals or armed robber in the future. Now the question is, are you leading by example? A father will lecture his child about the effects of smoking but in just about 30min, he caught him smoking privately. Is it the proper way of training a child? absolutely no.

If a child is well trained, being brought up from a disciplinary family , there's a high possibility of being a child they will be proud of. So to me, parents have role to play in a child's behavior.

Parenting can be responsible for a child behavior because as they said: Charity begin at home. A well trained child will make his parents proud. But at the same time there's always a bad egg among the good one, and it beyond parenting. What am I trying to say?

Apart from parenting there's other factors that can also be responsible for a child behavior. My people use to say that a childish not only train by only parent, the society also influence the behavior and attitudes. The other factors are:

• ♦️Social media
• ♦️Peer pressure (friend)
  
  The society or environment also has a way influencing a child behavior. Sometimes you might notice your child acting in a way weird manner or dressing inappropriately because that is how people in the environment dress. And the worst part of it is when they feel there's nothing wrong in it.
  
  Social Media also shaped a child behavior in a way that we or I personally likely to follow trends especially our favourite celebrities. The thing is, it can a positive or negative outcome.
  
  Peer pressure is also another factor that influence a child's behavior*. That's why is good to make good associates in other to avoid being tempted to adopt one bad habits. We will not live in our parents house forever, as such, the friends we make can either change our behavior to good or bad.
  

One thing about human is that we keep learning everyday, learning to adapt, learning to adjust. And as we grow up, we can still change the behavior only if we agree to but it's not a day job. Imagine someone who has been stealing from childhood with all the criminals activities, then at some age, he decided to change his way. I bet you know it not going to be easy for him.

Some may try to change but at some point the relapse, end up seeing their self repeating the same behavior. Nevertheless, with time and patience, it can be fulfilled. Setting a realistic goals and being accountable can helped in changing of behavior during adult.

Am not a parent but with what I have learned today, I will do all my best in bringing up my children in a good way, with good behavior. *Remember that the way we trained our children influence their behavior which means we must live by example. Society social media and peer pressure can also hinder the a child's behavior. Changing of behavior in adult can be difficult but possible if the goal is being set.
