How can extracurricular activities help children's physical and mental growth?

Extracurricular activities are the extra activities that children do when they are not in school or when they come back from school
In Nigeria today children are advised to engage in extracurricular activities because after school you will be given a certificate and that alone can't guarantee a good job .so extracurricular activities are what helps out and activities like tailoring, music, and sports activities are healthy and can sharpen the children's brain it will bring them closer to one another and it will also help to develop their communication skills
Most children can also develop self-confidenceif they are involved in extracurricular activities some might find their talent in their extracurricular activities and most of them can even make a living from their extracurricular activities.
Extracurricular activities can help to sharpen the brains and minds of young children and it will help them to be physically and mentally strong

Do today's children like extracurricular activities, or are they forced to participate by their parents?

I think children today don't like to engage in extracurricular activities like our days before i go to school I will first and go to stream and fetch water some sometimes I will go to to the farm before going to school and after I come back from school i still go for choir practice without anyone forcing me to do it,
unlike children of this days they don't like doing anything before or after school. some of them are even forced to go to school and talk more about extracurricular activities .

Extracurricular activity is extremely important in our society today as I said before you can't just rely on school alone because in Nigeria today we have so many graduates with master's degrees that are not even employed today most of the graduates end up working for illiterate people that didn't even go to primary school so extracurricular activity is very necessary for our children , children who engage in extracurricular activity may find his or her potential in one of the extracurricular activities and might even make a living out of it and even train others and have employees and help to reduce unemployment

Which are the best extracurricular activities for today's children?

There are so many extracellular activities that children can engage in that can help to sharpen their brain and their minds
I think computer classes are very important children can learn how to operate a computer they can learn programs like Excel, Microsoft Word, graphic design, python
Children can also learn how to sing by going to music school she can learn how to produce songs or how to use musical instruments or they can become the next Don Jazzy or Wizkid or tiwa savage
Children can also register in football clubs which will help them to be sharp very strong and mentally balanced he become the next Ronaldo or mess.
Children can go to careen school and learn how to cook and how to bake cake buff, meat pastries e.t.c
Children can learn to make hair and also learn how to sew clothes, There are so many things out there.
