Good day steemians!

Yesterday, October 6, 2023. The admin of DepEd Lapu-Lapu City decided to have a celebration on Teacher's Day at Hoopsdome wherein all teachers of Lapu-Lapu City, from public and private sector are all invited. And the picture above is our type b uniform. And this is the uniform of all teachers who belong to District 1.

More or less there were 3,000 teachers who were present of the said venue.

I sitted with my friends of course. While waiting for the time to start, a group of teachers went on stage and render some songs for us so that we will not feel bored. Afterwards, there's a speaker who talk about Stress Management.

At exactly 2pm, we formally started the program and it started with a prayer, singing of National Anthem and the the Nationalistic Song.

Then the Teacher's Got talent contest started wherein the teachers are showing their talents. Some were having a pantomiming, dancing, and singing.

In the middle of the contest, there were politicians came in. But what catches everyone's eye were the Filipino Artist who were so tall and had a good skin texture. The crowd were shouting and felt so "kilig". But since we were sitting at the upperbox, we just look at them while they were busy taking up pictures.

But what made us "kilig" were the things they leave for raffle. For our raffle, we had cash, cellphones, ipad, laptop, a sack of rice, mountain bike, shoes and a lot more.

But what made me excite was the snacks and meals they served for free. For our afternoon snacks we received 2 cookies and water. Then, one of the politicians gave us 1 mcdo burger. And our dinner is fried chicken, rice, bihon and soda.

Unfortunately, I am not that lucky in raffles. I havent get any price.

We went home at exactly 9pm. Though I didnt receive anything, I am still so happy for the relaxing day without thinking of the lesson plans and students.
