Understanding of Witness

A couple of days ago one of our members @theentertainer asked me a question about Witness in Discord and I gave him a short explanation but it was difficult to explain in two lines. So I also searched many posts to know fully about that. I am providing here for you the information I have collected through them. Hope you like it very much.
Understanding of Witness
The witnesses play one of the most significant social roles in the Steem ecosystem because the Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus method and the Steem blockchain both require a specific group of people to create blocks, so a witness is essential to the operation of the STEEM network. By including them in blocks, witnesses provide the functions of authenticating signatures and timestamping transactions.
In the steem blockchain, a block is any collection of transactions such as posts, comments, transfers, esteem, votes etc. that updates the database's current state. Every time a block is produced, witnesses are compensated for their work.
In general, witnesses are expected to run a reliable block-producing node, implement a failover system, maintain an open seed hub, and fine-tune the blockchain's operational parameters. However, because the Steem blockchain is well understood, we have treasuries in place to maintain the system's integrity.

How the witness is selected
The Steem community organises the election of witnesses, who are chosen through a voting process based on the voters' stake. Each Steemit user has the ability to elect up to 30 witnesses. We all have 30 votes to cast for any Steem witness of our choosing, and as a Steemit user who wants to see this platform develop and thrive, I will argue that these are the most crucial 30 votes you will ever cast on this platform.
Why should we vote for Witness?
The top 20 witnesses will mine blocks full-time, creating one every 63 seconds. Backup witnesses are scheduled in a joint 21st place according to their stake-weighted community approval score. With the exception of the top 20 witnesses, a witness is compensated in accordance with their position in the witness rankings. These witnesses are expected to maintain a node up and operating 24 hours a day.
With the exception of the top 19 witnesses, a witness is compensated in accordance with their position in the witness rankings. In contrast to a witness at rank 50, who might only create a single block each hour, a witness at rank 30 can generate as many as four blocks per hour. Many users have upvoted Steem Witnesses since the majority of them participate actively in the Steemit Community.

Anyone can become a Winess in Steemit
Anyone eager to contribute to the blockchain can become a witness, but they must be chosen by the Steemit Community through votes. Witnesses are typically among the most dependable people in the community, tech-savvy, and determined to keep the Blockchain secure. Witness are referred to be the Steem blockchain's "Guardians."
Several things are necessary to become a witness:
- A powerful server with adequate bandwidth to host a Steem Seed A powerful server to run a witness server
- A reliable STEEM/USD price feed that is updated at least once daily
- Technical aptitude: You should be able to swiftly resolve server issues and comprehend the majority of STEEM principles.
- Community confidence in your suitability to serve as a witness

But I have little more doubt which I want to ask.
All steemit users can vote up to 30 votes to any witness each one vote, it is up to your choice. Witnesses require your vote to advance in the rankings and earn more SteemPower, which can be used to offset their server expenses. Without them, the Steem blockchain would not exist, and you would not receive Rewards.
So everyone should vote, if you'd like, you can amend your vote afterward.

I have not voted for any witness and this article has helped me understand the importance of a witness on our platform and blockchain.
But still, I have one question. I do not have a good amount of Steem power in my wallet, is it still going to help the platform, if I give a witness vote using such low Steem power?
