Steemit is designed in such a way that a user who joins today has the chance of having more steem power than a user who has been on Steemit. Power up is the way out for anyone be it a new user, or old user who wants to grow faster on Steemit

Power up is all about you transferring that liquid Steem that has to vest. (Converting your Steem to Steem power). By doing so you will have greater power on Steemit to support quality posts.

As a user who wants to support quality posts and contribute to the growth of Steemit, usually do my power-up weekly, and today, I will be showing you my power-up for this week.

The amount of Steem from your wallet must be used to perform a power-up.

The amount of steem that I power up for this week, is 102 Steem which is greater than that of the previous week.

Step 1:

• log in to your Steemit wallet by clicking on the wallet from your profile, which will then take you to the wallet interface.

Step2:

• On the wallet page, click on the right-hand side and sign in successfully then click on your STEEM balance and select "Power Up," as shown in the screenshot below.

Step3:

• Enter the amount of Steem you want to power up which in my case Is 102 STEEM and click on Power Up, as shown in the screenshot. After step 3, click on OK.

Write about the importance of performing power-ups.

The importance of performing power-ups is too much to be discussed, but I have shared some of the importance of performing power-ups below.

• Power gives me the chance to support quality posts.

• Power up increases our steem power, which gives us more influence over post-payout.

• Power-up brings trust to us, which makes the Steemit team trust us.

• Power up helps keep the price of Steem Coin high.

• Power up increases our reputation and makes us a trustworthy user on the platform

• Power up, give us an upper hand to support quality posts.
