Let's assume I am traveling by car, train, or plane, I will ensure I take fire safety very important to safeguard myself and other passengers. As for traveling by car, the measures that I would take would be as follows:

• I will check the vehicle In checking the vehicle I will make sure the vehicle is in good condition with no electrical issues or fuel leakages. If it is my car, I will ensure there is a fire extinguisher in my vehicle.

• I will avoid overheating: I will make sure that I prevent the car engine from overheating by maintaining proper coolant levels in the car if I discover overheating I will stop traveling so the car can be cool off.

• I will Plan an Exit Strategy: I will ensure that I familiarise myself with car door locks and windows for immediate escape, and I will look for tools like seatbelt cutters accessible and window breakers.

I will know the layout via locating emergency exists, fire alarm, and extinguisher	I will ensure that I listen to pre-flight briefings or videos to understand emergency procedures
I will avoid breaking exits by keeping luggage away from emergency exits and aisles	I will identify the closest emergency exits and count rows to them for reference in smoke-filled conditions.

What are the key fire safety procedures to follow if a fire breaks out while you are traveling?

Should in case a fire breaks out while I am traveling, I will follow these key fire safety procedures:

• I will stay calm and assess the situation: By staying calm I will avoid panicking so I won't act unnecessarily staying calm will help me to determine the size, and the source of the fire to decide the best action.

• I will alert others: I will ensure that I notify other travelers and staff immediately by shouting aloud or using an alarm.

• I will act quickly: If the fire is manageable or small, I will use a fire extinguisher at the base of the flames, but if it is a large fire I will evacuate the area.

• I will protect myself from smoke and evacuate the area: I will ensure that I cover my mouth and nose with cloth to filter out harmful particles.

What immediate actions should you take if a fire occurs in your vehicle during travel?

If a fire occurs in my vehicle while I am traveling, I will take the following actions immediately to ensure my safety.

• I will pull over safely by signaling and moving the vehicle to the side of the road away from traffic. Also, I will turn off the ignition to stop the fuel from passing through the engine.

• I will evacuate the vehicle by assisting passengers to get out quickly from the vehicle

• I will move away 100 feet from the vehicle to avoid exposure to flames, toxic, fumes, or potential explosions.

• I will call emergency services and report the situation and the location of the incident
