What are the benefits of social media to our society?
There is a significant impact that social media has in our society that provides us with many benefits some of the benefits shared below.
Enhanced Communication: Social media allow people to share information, and stay connected such as family, friends, and colleagues in respective of where we are coming from. Real-time communication is what social media provides us with.
Information sharing and awareness: Social media is a powerful tool for passing information in our society. It helps us to raise awareness on important issues, and spread knowledge, support, and mobilize people.
Community Building: Social media help us to look for and join communities based on shared goals, interests, and hobbies. It fosters a sense of belonging and provides us with the connection and network that we need to build our community.
What are the evils caused by social media in our society?
As there are so many benefits that social media provide in our society it is also how it provides our society with evil caused which some of them are:
Misinformation and fake news: Social media can spread fake news and misinformation very fast which can lead to misguided beliefs, public panic, and even influence our outcome.
Cyberbullying and Harassment: Social media can be a platform for cyberbullying, abusive behavior, and harassment. People do get insulted on social media for no reason or cost which has a negative impact.
Privacy concern: Social media collect people's information and share them without the concern of the people first which usually leads to a breach of trust, as users'' information can be compromised.
Is social media useful for common people or corporate companies?
Social media is useful for both common people and corporate companies as everyone needs social media for communication and advertisement.
Common people use social media for sharing information and passing messages across to loved ones and friends, whereas corporate companies need social for attending to the needs of customers, discussing business issues, advertising and so on which implies that social media is useful for both common people and corporate companies.

My opinion about social media is that social media is created for communication and sharing of vital information which it such be used for such purposes why it is created for people to be using. The use of social media should be for good and not for evil agenda.
In conclusion; social media shouldn't be used for bullying or spreading fake news it can be used for promoting businesses and communicating with family and friends.

Social networks bring a great advantage for everyone, especially when they have so many advances which make them a significant learning experience, and that leads us to develop many skills that perhaps we did not know or were not given due importance.
But it must also be recognized that it has some things that put it at a disadvantage due to the issue of some networks that do not have properly generated content for children and even for adults since situations arise where misuse causes major problems.

The evils you mentioned in your publication are really concerning. The children particularly didn't know how to handle their social media account and become an easy prey of it. Fake news is a terrible danger for the prosperity and integrity of a country. I think such things must be monitored strictly. Good luck with the contest
