On this beautiful day, I bring greetings to every steemian available in the @hindwhale community. It is a pleasure to discuss employment in my country with you today, and I wish you a happy day as you read through it.
I don't know of other countries but, employment has become a major issue here in my country (Nigeria). Thousands of graduates are sitting at home idle due to lack of employment. And the funny part of it more and more people keep graduating every year.
Due to a lack of employment opportunities, people now apply for different jobs that are not related to their fields of study because everyone wants to earn a living. And because of that some jobs have become more popular in the country due to the high number of workers they recruit every year.
These popular jobs include the Police, Army, road safety, civil defense, and immigration. Looking at the list, you will learn that all of them are uniform work. They have become more popular than any other in the country because they recruit thousands of personnel every year.
Al has already created a serious problem in the job market. Although it is made to ease work for humans, it has deprived millions of people of their jobs. The work that is supposed to be done by 10 people can now be done by 1 using Al. What then happens to the remaining 9 people? They become unwanted and are being sacked.
Reducing unemployment is one thing every country is struggling to achieve. But funny enough, nothing seems to be changing, rather unemployment keeps rising. Nevertheless, in as much as the government has a role to play in reducing unemployment, every individual also has a role to play. Below are a few ideas to reduce unemployment.
- The government should offer financial support to citizens who have either good business ideas or skills that can make them independent.
- The government should establish a training center where citizens can learn self-sufficient skills.
- Individuals should have a creative mind and stop over depending on the government.

Es triste que después de estudiar tanto para sacar una carrera y llegar a ser profesional no existan suficientes oportunidades de trabajo y tengan que trabajar de otra cosa.
Pero no es nada más en tu país en muchos países del mundo está pasando lo mismo incluso en mi país creo que todo esto se debe también a la crisis económica que hay en el mundo.

In your country the most common jobs are related to arms forces. You said your country is suffering from extreme unemployment. I think after COVID too many countries are facing this problem.
AI can have both positive and negative impacts on human life. It creates jobs and take jobs of human being.

Working in the civil service and also in the military and parliamentary is the most popular way of getting employ in our country Nigeria 🇳🇬 because they employ thousands of citizens every year and on top of it they also pay their workers well and also treat them with comfort.
Reducing the rate of unemployment seem almost difficult because the government don't even care about the issue which is very bad.
But creating jobs by teaching of skills and also trade will be a massive way to reduce unemployment, they are a lot of graduate that are joblessness which have made going to school a no go area for some citizens in Nigeria 🇳🇬 also learning a skill by employing yourself will also help to reduce the rate of unemployment in Nigeria 🇳🇬.

These days, people are more focused on getting a degree because society requires it. You can graduate with distinctions and still not get a good paying job. It's so bad.
