Weekly Contest 12 || The Diary Game || Oct 30th, My First Diary Post

Good evening everyone (or morning, depending where you live)! I hope you’re all having or had a great day today. This is my first diary game post and I’m excited to share my day with all of you, then read about some of your days before I go to bed.

Morning:

I woke up late today, around 10-11 AM. I started my day as I usually start my day, by making a coffee, smoking a cigarette, and brushing my teeth. I ran out of cigarettes so I had to run to the convenience store to buy a new pack.

I hate looking at the pictures they put on packs of cigarettes in Canada. They always make me feel bad and guilty about smoking, especially now that I have a wife and family who depend on me. I plan on trying to quit soon, I’ll give it a go when I’m done with the pack I bought.

Afternoon:

After drinking my morning coffee, smoking my morning cigarette, and doing some basic chores like feeding the cats and cleaning the cat litter, I went to Mark’s and Home Depot with my wife to buy some clothes and equipment for work. I got a white hard hat and some thermal clothing. I work construction outside building houses, and it’s getting cold in Edmonton, so I need warmer clothes.

The view of Edmonton from our apartment’s parking garage is beautiful. Everyday I leave the house with the car, I make sure to admire the view. When my wife and me arrived home from our shopping trip, we decided to cook some grilled cheese sandwiches. They were delicious!

Evening:

In the evening my wife and I spent some time together. We played chicken invaders! I told my wife I’d beat her but if I’m going to be honest she tripled my score.

After playing chicken invaders I called my mother and father, spoke to them for a bit, then here I am writing this post. All in all I’d say I had a nice day. It wasn’t productive, but it was fun! Tomorrow I plan on having fun too, or relaxing depending on how I feel. I go back to work on Wednesday so I want to enjoy my time off.
