Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W4 - "Children Vs Extracurricular Activities

Hello everyopne i hope you all are good and enjoying your life. As someone who helps kids with their studies outside of school I have seen how doing fun stuff outside of class can really help them grow in many ways. when kids do things like play sports or make art its not just about having fun its about getting better at different things and making friends too.

1. How can extracurricular activities help children physical and mental growth?

From my experience taking my students to the park for activities like football not only gets their bodies moving but also helps them build stamina and coordination. Its like a natural gym session where they are having so much fun they don't even realize they are exercising. Plus seeing them overcome challenges on the field boosts their confidence and teaches them important life skills like teamwork and problem solving.

2. Do today's children like extracurricular activities or are they forced to participate by their parents?

I have noticed that most of my student genuinely enjoy our extracurricular activities. They are alway eager to join in and have good time. However there are few who might feel pressured by their parents to excel in certain areas. That why I try to create environment where they feel encouraged to explore their interests and pursue activities that make them happy.

3. Is extracurricular activity necessary for children?

Absolutely! Extracurricular activities offer break from the rigors of academic studies and provide a well rounded learning experience. They teach kids important life skill that can't always be learned in the classroom. For example when we organize football match they learn about teamwork communication and sportsmanship skills that are valuable both on and off the field.

4. Which are the best extracurricular activities for today's children?

Based on my experience the best activities are the ones that cater to children interests and strength. For some it might be sports like football or basketball while others might enjoy creative pursuit like painting or music. Its all about finding what resonates with each child and providing opportunitie for them to explore and grow.

A child should be allowed to do what he likes as it will benefit his mental development. Other physical fitness, football, swimming, cycling, dance, cultural activities, theater or other sports that strengthen children physically and mentally. A child's communication skills improve in extracurricular activities, be it debating competitions or painting. Your writing is excellent.

Thank you for your insightful comment! I wholeheartedly agree that allowing children to explore their interests and engage in various activities is crucial for their holistic development.
