How do you like to keep going!
Inspiration can be potent. It can keep you going when everything around you shouts enough. However, it is even more powerful than motivation because the latter gives you the primary reasons to keep going: it tells you why you want to do what you are doing because the basis is based on goals. The latter, in turn, may be based on wanting or desiring something. But inspiration fills these reasons with hope, possibility, and joy and prevents effort from becoming too much of a burden.
But what exactly is inspiration? I suggest two elements: Vision and Mission. Vision is the first step in turning motivation into inspiration. A person with vision sees farther. He can see how things will be in six weeks, six months, one year, two years, five years, and beyond.
But how do you get a vision? First of all, you have to narrow your vision. You can only try to go in some directions at a time, so to speak. So instead, try to decide what you are looking for so that you know when you see it.
Therefore, remember some general goals of where you want to be in six months, a year, etc. These goals structure the premise of your life and help you take advantage of your opportunities. Moreover, these goals not only include the basis of your motivation but also limit the scope of your activities to some extent.
Next, find and select an opportunity (company, career, or job) you feel is right. This could be difficult. There are so many unique open doors that look encouraging. But, on the other hand, you may find an outstanding option on the spur of the moment.
In that case, wait. But you will likely have to choose several first, study the offers, and evaluate the potential of each. Then, finally, decide on the business that offers the most potential with the fewest drawbacks.
Once you have decided on the business, support it in all areas and do not give up or change your mind. Remember that you are committed to the long term, no matter what happens. And try to imagine, based on what you know, what things will be like later. Keep this image in your mind, and never doubt it.
Once the vision is firmly rooted in your mind, let it become your driving force. Get excited about the concept and the possibility of realizing it, and you will automatically take the next step: you are on a mission. Your mission is to realize the vision. If you keep the idea in mind, you will go forward with the mission and enthusiastically do, step by step, what is necessary to realize it. You will have developed a sense of excitement, importance, and urgency that will keep the fire of inspiration burning in your heart and propel you upward.
