How are you guys? I hope you are all well. Today I have brought you an interesting story. So a dish that many people like to eat in our country is called milk gravy and Polsambola with string hopper. So string hopper is a food that everyone likes to eat without any big or small difference. Also, string hopper are one of my favorite foods. So I thought I would share with you how to make milk gravy and polsambol with string hopper.

First I will tell you the ingredients needed to make string hopper.

• String hopper flour
• Salt as required
• Hot water

These ingredients are used to make string hopper.

The ingredients needed to make milk gravy are

• One or more potatoes
• One onion
• Tomatoes
• Chili
• Curry leaves
• 1 teaspoon of chili powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
• Garlic
• Dill seeds
• As needed Salt
• Water
• Milk of half a coconut

Ingredients needed to make polsambola

• Coconut of half a coconut
• One onion
• Chili
• Garlic
• 2 table spoons of chili
• Salt as required
• Half a lime

Now I will tell you how to make this step by step.

• First of all, take the required amount of flour from the string hopper flour packet into a clean bowl. Then add salt to it according to taste and mix it for some time.

• Then use hot water to the salted string hopper flour mixture and mix well. Then you can make a flour mixture as shown below.

String hopper is made using this flour mixture. To make string hopper, you need a string hopper mortar and string hopper pots. This delicious food is made by using these things. Below are the string hopper mortar and string hopper pots.

• The flour mixture made in this way is filled in the string hopper mortar and it is closed at the top as shown below and using the two supports on both sides, the flour mixture is added in a circle on the string hopper pots so that you can see as shown below.

• Then the raw flour mixture added to the string hopper is steamed using a steamer. Then you can get delicious string hopper as seen below.

Then I will tell you how to make milk gravy and pole sambola which you want to eat with a string hopper.

• Wash the potatoes, tomatoes, chilies, and onions needed to make milk gravy, cut them into small pieces and add them to the clean container. Then add chili powder, turmeric powder, curry powder, dill seeds, garlic as required. Then add water to it and add salt as per taste.

• After that, the curd mixture made in this way is boiled until the water stops. Then add coconut milk to this mixture as needed and boil it again. That's how milk gravy is made.

• Polsambola is made by first adding onions, green chillies, chilli pieces and salt to the mortar and grind it well.

• Add coconut to the chopped mixture and chop well again.

• Finally, lime is added to the mixture made in this way. That's how polsambola is made.

You have to taste the string hopper and taste the polsambola. So you can eat this dish not only with milk gravy and polsambola made like this, but also with things like chicken curry and fish curry. Also, we often eat this food for breakfast and dinner.
