Steemit Engagement Challenge S11/W5 | " Create a handmade gift for your loved ones with your own hands and ideas.

Hi Fam,
When first I saw this week's challenge I thought it was a perfect fix. Mostly because haven't always been the gifting type. I have tried working on this and improved a bit but this will I know will make things a lot better. Usually I make my drawings with graphite pencils using a particular blur technique that allows me cheat the proportion and move easily within layers. I have often times explained this to her. But the n I thought to show my skill and intention proving to her how much precision and attention I can summon on any piece just to make her happy. So I thought of using a pen which requires caution and no mistake whatsoever. I very well know that upon seeing this, she will understand my intentions.

To whom are you giving this item?

I will be gifting it to my Fiancée. She's been nothing but sweet to me these past two years. We had been friends for a while before I asked her out and even then, we've only gotten more closer. I haven't been able to this past year meet up with a lot of things and have hardly even taken her out on a date because of the economic state. But I know this will atleast show her that she is important to me and that I am ever ready to commit. It is not often you find someone who is as interested in you as you are in them. I really am a lucky guy.

Which special day will you offer him/her?

Initially I planned on gifting her the drawing on her 2nd anniversary at her workplace which happened to be on the 23rd but I wasn't able to meet up as there was power outage for the most of the week which inevitably led to my late posting too so I bought her Ice cream and some other things instead. However, our second anniversary is just around the corner and I want to make it as memorable as the first night she said yes to me. So I will be gifting her this amidst other things on the 23rd of October.

What makes the gift unique?

Having seen most if not all my drawings, I notice when I show them to her the reclining look on her face. She is always supportive and encouraging though but she doesn't like the fact that I haven't drawn her. I know for a fact that when I share this with her, she will be filled with excitement. The gift is unique because it is something she always wanted and it is something I want to share with her.
