Some Gym selfies
As you all might have read my last post, if not please do check it out 😊; I have been writing about the Navratri Season. So Yesterday was Day 2 of the Festive Season. I had a week off from office yesterday because this entire month I will be working on Sundays. So it was a chill day. I began the day late, gearing myself up for the evening. After my gym I went to the grocery store to do some shopping. As soon as I came back it was already almost lunch time. During the day, while having lunch I was watching the movie Shaitan starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika and R. Madhavan. It’s a Thriller/ Horror / Drama movie. Normally I am terrified of horror movies. I can watch it at the time but it scares me later on. This movie was not that scary but instead a lot creepy. It is actually a remake of the Gujarati movie Vash which received positive reviews too. It was amazing to see R. Madhavan it that twisted role. The rest of the cast was good too. I watched it and had my lunch.

Grocery Shopping
Soon it was already dusk. I had to leave to go to my friend’s place as her house is 20 km (30 mins) from my place. The garba at that place would end by 00:00 hours, so we had to reach on time to make the most of it. As we all know, girls take some time (the guys around me would argue that it’s not “some” but it’s a “hell lot of time” 🤣) to get dressed, apply some make up especially when it’s an occasion. We were not just 1 but 4 ladies that had to get dressed. My friend’s brother even made a joke that in order to get us dressed quick they need to send us 1 day prior to start getting ready 😆. My friend was really good at applying makeup so all of us were counting on her to do ours as well. She’s so much into skin care, I even told her she can become a makeup artist. She even jokingly said she’ll do my makeup on my wedding day also for free 🤣. So the saga of this entire dressing up thing went on and on… one of the other girls arrived at 8:30 pm; while I was already there by 6:30 pm and got dressed the first. The guys (our brothers) were then suppose to pick us up and we were all suppose go together. My friend’s aunt, with whose reference we were gonna enter the venue had already reached because of her school duties. By the time we were ready to leave, it was around 10 pm. We ordered some food and ate then quickly reached down to go.

All dressed up
As we entered the ground we saw there was such a lot of crowd. At first, we just stood by the stage and took some pictures of the singer and band who was performing. We hurriedly walked past the crowd and found a little space for us to dance. As we started to dance, they announced a 20 min break 😅. We sat down for a little while and waited ⏱️ for them to resume the songs. The host/singer was amazing. She captured the entire crowd with her singing and enthusiasm. She was herself dancing on the stage 😊. We were enjoying just looking at them.
At Adani Shantigram Garba
Finally after 20 mins they started the songs. They began with the very popular Dalkla Garba. As soon as this song plays, people start moving on their own. We saw people around dancing with such a lot of excitement, all with different style of dancing and in huge groups. We danced for a while in our own group, then joined another group. We took a lot of pictures and videos. We did the famous Garba steps and also the step that people do nowadays. It was great fun and joy.
Soon we were very thirsty, so again we went out of the ground and bought a bottle of water. After coming out, for some while we went back near the stage and enjoyed the singing as though we were in a concert. By this time we were already exhausted and little bit annoyed by the crowd. We then decided to get outside the ground and take in some fresh air. We were looking for something to eat, but couldn’t find anything that appealing. A few seconds later, an ice cream truck caught my attention and I decided to have a chocobar. I enjoyed the ice cream and we walked back home. We spent the rest of the time sharing pictures and videos with each other. Our brothers had already left the venue way before we left from there (we doubt they even came inside). My brother called me up and told me that there’s a lot of traffic, so it’s better that I spent the night there itself. And that’s when we called the night off.

Enjoying some fresh air
