Are we all sacrificing peace to make money?

In my opinion I want to make mention of a lot of people giving up on peace for cash because sometimes people can be so busy chasing the almighty dollar to the extent of foregoing their own health, families, friends and this leads to the absence of peace in the lives of such individuals and this is brought about by the stress to succeed financially and at times anxiety is caught in between it all.

Yet, it has to be said that money provides that comfort and hence many compromise peace to earn the money because money is indeed everything yet it is crucial to note that not everyone compromises peace to money; many people balance work and relationships, striving for productivity both in material and emotional terms, again some find solace in work which is the means of sustainance to them and their families so the interaction between money and peace is not healthy and may be different.

Which is wiser to spend and earn or to spend after earning and saving?

While both options are useful, mostly, it is better to spend money after gaining it and, therefore, saving it. Thus, people who are willing to learn how to budget, gain the money first, then save it, and only after that, it is allowed to spend it, guarantee a proper financial security, emergency kits, and investments in the future. It ensures use of proper financial practices, less likelihood of borrowing, and having possibilities to save for the future.

While spending before earning allows one to be spontaneous, spontaneous spender is likely to make rash decisions, has no savings and probably owes people money. Therefore the choice depends on one’s circumstances but the wise decision should entail earning, saving, and lastly spending.

Apart from money, what brings you peace and happiness?

For me apart from money another thing that brings me peace and happiness is having fun with my family and friends, being close to nature, appreciating what one has, helping people, exercising and being mindful of the mind and body, having fun and giggling, and finding self-improvement and self-acceptance, finding purpose in life, and being at content in life and being mindful lastly is food.
