The ability to communicate is undoubtedly a great power. Without communication, we wouldn't get anywhere in life.

Undoubtedly the words above are words of fact showing how strong the concept pf communication is, to our everyday lives. Without communication, I also dont think that there will any progress betweem individuals and communities in this world. In each languages , come special ways of communication with one another to pass information to each other. It is one to communicate and it is another thing to communicate thoroughly and pass the needed information with ease and let the receiver be able to hear, comprehend and know what you're saying.

Although you said you don't know more of historical examples where Communication skills had helped to to ease and create peace, but you gave instances of wars. Fair enough, wars are one of the major events that usually happens and good communication skills have been able to solve amicably, therefore saving the lives of many people.

To improve one's communication skills, i agree with you that staying and growing around people who have impact on you, socially, emotionally, psychologically and physically.
