The Steemit Engagement Challenge has brought many changes and diversity of improvement on the platform... The Steemit team made a great move in finding out this great initiative.. the rewards, support and interaction are encouraging users to do more.. I agree with you that steemit engagement challenge is just a minor contest, but one that holds more dignity and honour.. . I have always heard of the platform called HIVE but haven't used it for once..

The challenge theme hosted by the cryptoacademy who are always on every season, is nice one. They create good and educative theme to the benefits of steemians...
