How are you doing my dear steemian friends i am good and blessed.
This is Hira from Pakistan,I am very grateful to partake in the 2nd week of engament challenge contest. Steemit Engagement Challenge S6 - W2: "What steps would you take to save the soil?" by the beautiful community of @hindwhale community. By taking part in in this contest, I may able to share my contribution about soil conservation.

Soil not only render us support, breathe, nutriment and protection. No one can repudiate the significance of soil for existence.

But on every passing day we polluted this soil by human activities without noticing the thresholds of havoc; which can damage us eventually.Infact when we are impairing soil we couldn't acknowledge that it encompasses our lives more.

What steps would you take to save the soil?

There are few steps that should be taken to conserve the soil.

Planting of trees

One of the easy technique that can be used is planting of trees, it will unquestionably impede deterioration of soil and top soil can be conserved.
Planting will preserve soil nutritious and deepen rooting will hold the soil particles. Planting can be done by every citizen of a country. Until every individual will not conscious the prestige of soil protection its arduous to recoup it.

_{On the occasion of plantation day, we planted trees at workplace and school}

On the day of plantation we planted plants in workplace, teachers contribute their role and planted trees in school. Students bring the plant of their own choice for cultivation.

Improvent of soil texture

Crop rotation is healthy workout for retaining the nutrients contents and boosting the soil fertility. With cropping same crop leads to nutrition certainly and soil fertility curtailed with passage of time. Crop rotation enrich the biomass production and root anchorage which leads to intensify biomass output.

Impact of hoofed animals on soil

The grazing animals like sheep and cattles often destroy the upper layer of soil and made it compact. This compaction leads to decrease the soil aeration and soil fertility reduced. It should be restricted to forage on only grasslands.

On the other hands if we increased the microbial activities of through biodegradable organism it would improve the soil texture and prevent the mechanism of erosion.

Need to check and blance in housing scoiety

Its time that Government should take check and balance on construction of housing society. If it could not stopped on time temperature will be more adverse and life will be more difficult on soil.

As there would be less trees and carbon dioxide production will be at peak. Its necessity of time to stop the selling of soils for housing purpose. Otherwise; it would be tough to take breathe on soil.

Public awareness

Now, its time to aware people about the importance of soil. So that everyone can contribute their own role. Social media can play a vital role in spreading this message. Conservative of soil is possible only if a lay man knows about the importance of soil for survival.

Conclusion

In the last i can say soil is very important for us and its conservation can not be avoided. We have to take crucial steps so that it can be saved from further damage.
