I am here to take part in Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W6 - "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?

Before I commence giving my answers to your questions I would like to invite @senehasa, @josepha and @monz122 to partake in this contest.

What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?

It sounds strange, but if a ban is imposed on all cars, trucks, buses, or any engine driven vehicle for any reason, the first impact will be on oil producing countries. Just think about countries like Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Russia, and even America or other oil exporters.

I feel as if we shall go back to the era when there were no motor vehicles in the world. It would present a significant challenge, but the potential environmental, health, and social benefits make it a worthy long-term goal.

Will humans again seek the help of animals for transport?

What else? If there were no motorised vehicles, humans would go back to the traditional transport methods of elephants, camels, bulocks, ponnies, and horses.

How would our environment be without motor vehicles?

If that happens, motor driven vehicles, which are the main generators of pollution, especially in urban areas, I guess we will save a large population from bad air quality standards. There will be reduced air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, leading to improved air quality and public health. This could prevent millions of deaths annually from car-related air pollution.

But even if we forget the problems of oil producing countries, I feel as if we shall go back to the era when there were no motor vehicles in the world. It would present a significant challenge, but the potential environmental, health, and social benefits make it a worthy but a long term goal.

How would our environment be without motor vehicles?

We all know that the main pollution elements caused by motorized vehicles are carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, which are toxic compounds composed of hydrogen and carbon. We will save the world from nitrogen oxides, generated by nitrogen and oxygen reacting during the burning of fuel. Think about the microparticles that include lead, sulfur dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide.

Oh, I simply shudder when I think about the emission. Once this ban is imposed, all the substances that I have mentioned above which are dangerous to human health will disappear from the atmosphere.

As a consequence of the points mentioned above, illnesses and deaths related to those diseases will have a significant reduction. In any case, the sudden disappearance of traffic pollution would definitely improve our health and reduce the number of deaths.

What will it be if humans invent any form of transportation other than the motor in the future?

The first thing that comes to mind is that a world without motors will require a carefully planned transition, investment in sustainable transportation alternatives, and a fundamental redesign of infrastructure. The path forward is complex, but the future without motorized vehicles would need cattle-friendly roads and life. Disruption to industries and jobs heavily dependent on the automotive sector, requiring economic transition and retraining.

There is a need for efficient and accessible alternatives to private cars, especially for long-distance travel, emergency services, and rural areas. Significant infrastructure changes are required, such as expanding public transportation networks, creating dedicated cycling lanes, and redesigning cities around pedestrians rather than cars.

The first impact will be on oil producing countries.

I agree with your point, most oil producing countries would lose they value and we will have no option than opt in for animals which so many of us have forgotten if such means of transportation are still existing. Thanks for the invite, for I have already participated. I wish you success.

Thanks for your feed back!

Undoubtedly, this would imply a great change in lifestyles and lifestyles. A step backwards looking for a balance with the environment, to make life on the planet more sustainable because every day the greenhouse effect increases and threatens life.

Changes are never accepted at the beginning and even less if it is about going backwards after so much evolution, there are several scenarios, returning to the use of animals, rudimentary methods or implementing new solutions that favor the planet.

That/s right. I believe we have come too far to a stage here going back to impossible so we'll have to find ways where the impact of pollution and congestion is least effective.

You submitted a well-structured blog for this competition. Thank you for your invitation, however I have already submitted my participation for the contest.

You wrote very well my friend. Good luck

Hii friend I really enjoy reading your entry, I see motor are very important in our community and environment, if this happens in our environment it will affect everyone that travels a long distance. I know this is a content and it can never come to pass. All this vehicle was created to iss human surfing. I wish you success boss..

Hello sir, you have explained your presentation so well and I agree with you that if a ban is placed on motor vehicles, we are probably going backward. The economy would be zero, everything would be going off all time. Employment would also be a very bug issue. And on the other hand, a peaceful environment and noiseless environment is what we get when a ban is placed. It's side effect is the hard part for us. Success to you!

True but as we all know there are two facets of every coin so it will always remain a matter of debate!

Investing in expanded public transportation networks, dedicated cycling lanes, and pedestrian-friendly urban design can greatly improve mobility and quality of life for everyone. It's about creating sustainable and inclusive transportation systems that cater to diverse needs and promote healthier, cleaner communities.

Hola @dove11
