UrContest: the diary game| Picnic with my friend

Hello everyone, I am much grateful participating in this very great contest which is about how our day went. We all did engage in something during the day and here is a greater platform to share it. I appreciate the organiser and the community for working together to make it a success.

Just like every other nights, I went to bed very late after finishing with my photography and writing work. I felt much tired during the day but I didn't want to get to bed that early. I received a call from my girlfriend about setting out in a picnic kind of hangout together, didn't want to wave her plans off so I made it known to her that I will be free though.
We all planned on how the picnic will look like and agreed on everything. I slept off immediately after her call so I can wake up early to prepare and complete my projects at hand.

Morning session

I woke up around 6:30 precisely to do my house chores and get myself ready for the picnic. Mom helped prepare hot tea with beans ball for breakfast, I so enjoyed it that I told her to attach it to my best food.
I moved out to board a taxi to the location, on reaching there she was there waiting for me with a nice setting . I walked up to her smiling because it been a long time we meet and she approached me slowly like she didn't miss me around. I told her to run up to me that we have actually stayed without meeting each other.
We took pictures together to keep the memories intact, it was fun around her.

She was actually shy posing for pictures, I cheered her up to make a lovely smile.

We ate cake and drank soft drinks which she portrayed the drink to be one of her best soft drinks.
I stayed there up with her throughout the afternoon snapping and playing games together. She's actually good at making yoga stance😁 and doing most of the deadly stunts I can't do.

Evening session

After staying up with her till 6 o'clock in the evening, we parted ways to our different homes. My mom gave me a beep call as a sign to tell me it's late which I later returned the call saying am close to the house. I got myself boiled potatoes with sauce by the roadside to eat at home which was about #200naira in the Nigeria currency.

My day was actually blessed and fun.. thanks for going through my post 😍❤️
