Blockchain can bring radical changes in the governmental services because it provides more transparency, effectiveness, and protection by means of decentralization and record immutability. It can transform different industries including identification, land government, and voting. For instance, if there is blockchain-based which can identify systems for helping citizens to get secure portable digital identities it will also improve their interactions with the governments while minimizing the odds of identity fraud. Property rights registration on the block chain is also a way of preventing fraud and disagreements because records will be unalterable.
In addition, blockchain enhances the operations of supplying chain for government procurements in tracking the movement of goods, and their origins to eliminate favoring certain suppliers. Issues which have arisen are technology adoption, legal compliance and privacy since while blockchain distribution is transparent it may not be convenient when responding to legal requirements regarding patient privacy. However, the strengths of successfully implementing blockchain as an account and an efficient instrument for increasing the level of accountability and public trust in the governmental services delivery makes the technology a valuable asset for reinventing public administration. While addressing these issues, and implementing blockchain solutions, governments effectively set up new standards for safer, more efficient, and more trustworthy public administration.
