Steemit Engagement Challenge / S16/W6 - "What happens if motor vehicles are banned around the world?
Welcome to a beautiful day and week. It is the last week of season 16 and brings before us an interesting topic on transportation. Transportation is a means of movement that involves both living and nonnonliving being moved from place to place.
In our understanding of this movement, a lot of means of been devised over the years. We have land (Motor) transportation, sea transportation, Air transportation, and Rail (Train) transportation. All these were invited after the nomadic means of the use of animals for transportation purposes.
The world would profit more from this exercise as this happens to be the major pollutant of the environment due to the overbearing dependence on fossil fuels. Humanity would benefit and the environment would rejuvenate from its all-dying state but it would bring a little more discomfort in the movement of humans and light loads from place to place.
There are cities where the use of motors isn't allowed. Places like Venice in Italy and Ghent in Belgium. Their government does not allow motor use but rather the use of boats. They are largely surrounded by rivers and hence derive their benefit from this source. I can tell you the life expectancy in this area would be much higher than it's other surrounding cities in the same country.
There would be a much better way it is the only thing to do. A new invention would be created that would help create a peaceful and habitable place for everyone. We can already see the creation of rechargeable cars that are void of emissions. It saves the world a lot better than when it is used in this magnitude.
We have not stopped seeking the help of animals maybe because of this side of the world I belong. In the northern hemisphere of my country characterized by a desert-like environment, the use of horses and camels are still in use.
In West Africa and maybe Africa, the use of animals is still serving a great purpose in the transportation of goods and humans. But I don't think it is best to be a solely dependent means of transportation.
Though the effect of not having the usual means of transportation which is motor vehicles would bite for some time by affecting the movement of goods and humans from place to place, the world and environment would heal and recover from the harm it has received so far.
Precisely, our environment would receive a form of tranquility it has never experienced before. Tranquility that we mostly observed in the dead of the night where most people are either sleeping or inactive for the day is what our environment would experience. A peaceful and noiseless environment would be the first benefit.
Aside the noise pollution, the other on the list is air pollution. The emissions of fumes due to the use of fossil fuels would be reduced. We could all see during the COVID-19 era where there were restrictions and less production activity. It is said the environment recovered from these usual hazards. It would save the environment from the ongoing damage to the environment that contributes to the issues of climate change of this present era.
Good enough, we already have other forms of transportation aside the motor vehicles. Just as I've narrated earlier in my post, we have the use of animals still in use which have served a great deal for people around the northern hemisphere of my country who pass through desert-prone areas. The use of camels, donkeys, and horses is very much available to serve this purpose.
We also have airplanes and jets (aircrafts) that help serve the purpose of transportation. This helps to a great extent leveraging the speed of delivery.
Also on the list are the ships and boats. They are our coastal friends that help in the movement of our goods through the oceans and seas. They are also fast and where not fast they help in the bulky movement of goods.
The railway is another invention that has helped in the transportation system. The movement of goods and services on a larger scale from place to place has been made easier.
In summary, the movement of goods and services is one aspect of human activities that keeps reoccurring. It is man's best way of commuting especially in the use of motor vehicles. Thank you all for giving me your time

Jika saja penggunaan kendaraan bermotor dilarang pasti lingkungan akan bebas dari polusi dan juga akan ketergantungan bahan bakar, akan tetapi pelarangan ini akan berdampak pada kehidupan kita, aktivitas perjalanan kita akan rumit dan mengalami keterlambatan jika kita menggunakan transportasi modern.

Saludos amiga respeto tu punto de vista y tu opinión, en Venecia solo se usa embarcaciones por estar rodeada de solo agua y hay poco espacio para los vehículos a motor, hay todavía países donde utilizan los animales como medio de transporte, reflejas en tu conclusión que se podría usar los trenes, o barcos o inclusive aviones peto todos esos que nombras son vehículos a motor

Los vehículos a motor se han vuelto imprescindible para el ser humano a través de ella se puede trasladar esas cargas de un lugar a otro si llegase es el problema los humanos No tendríamos otra opción que recurrir al transporte por medio de los animales Aunque habrían grandes ventajas porque a nivel de contaminación se reduciría también tiene sus efectos negativos

Since motors was invented, our means of transportation was made easy and faster. Waking up to another reality where motor vehicles are banned around the world will really take time for humans to adjust to the new change. Looking into this, it will place us to dwell on both the advantages and disadvantages either to; have an healthy environment without vehicles or slow down our movement with animals or non-technological means of transportation like bicycle.
