Steemit Engagement Challenge / S19/W2 - "Life without electricity"
Electricity has proven to be a force behind development over time. Invention and production are carried out with electricity. The importance of electricity can not be demeaned, it is part of our lives, and that is why thinking about life without electricity is not even welcoming to some. Even with the widespread power supply, some remote areas still don't have electricity. In this post, I will be writing about how my life is without electricity, the equipment I need to live a hassle-free life, and how I am coping without electricity.
MY LIFE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY
I was raised in an environment where electrical power was supplied interruptedly, and I never experienced uninterrupted power supply, I don't know if some parts of Nigeria have it. Then, my siblings and I would use traditional lanterns to read and do other things at home.
When I was a child, technology was not rampant in my country, we did not have cell phones or television. We only had a radio with a non-rechargeable battery, when the battery died, we bought another one. Therefore, during this time, I did not know the importance of electricity, and I was not troubled.
When I grew up, technology gradually became rampant in my country, hence helping me see the importance of electricity.
Electricity makes life easygoing, it makes businesses flourish. Life without power suppy would be doomed, enterprises would crumble, and productivity would curtail, to measure it all up, life would be harder.
Presently, I am going through a tough time, we do not have electricity in the area where I am staying, and this has made life very hard. It increases crime rate, and theft everywhere in the vicinity. It poses a challenge to my activeness on the steemit platform, my husband and I would have to go the another area to pay money and charge our phones every day, which costs about 1.5 steem daily. Life has not been easy over here, to be honest.
We need a Redeemer.
THE EQUIPMENT I NEED TO LIVE A HASSLE-FREE LIFE
To satisfy my desire for electricity, I need solar PV. Installation of solar PV would in effect solve my electrical challenges, I would not have to look for where to charge my phones anymore. Being active on the steemit platform would not be a challenge anymore. Other things, like the preservation of food, and foodstuff would not be a challenge anymore. Having solar PV would make my life hassle-free.
MY LIFE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY
I am coping without electricity already, but this is easier because I have an alternative, that is where I can pay money and charge my phones for our business. But in a situation where there is no electricity in the whole city, I can not cope. This is a technological era and electricity compliments technology. Without electricity, there is no technology. I can not cope with not being on this platform, that's why I need electricity in my life.
CONCLUSION
Electricity has made life easygoing, it fosters technology, reduces crime rate and theft, it flourishes businesses. Life without electricity is doomed, as businesses would crumble, crime would increase, and life would be very hard. I have been experiencing a lack of electricity for some time now, and this has made life very hard for me, I go out to charge my phones at a price every day which makes my activeness on the steemit platform a challenge. To bridge the gap of lack of electricity, I am recommending the use of solar PV in areas that have no electricity.

I believe that you had enjoyed your childhood days without electricity and also learned that how to live your life without electricity. Solar panel is a good idea to develop and maintain our electricity challenge but it will also affect the ecosystem. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post with us

In today's world, innovation is developing by the day, and it all requires electricity to put into practice. However, as you mentioned, certain places still have power outages. Getting them disturbed in certain areas. Everyone, however, manages and adapts to their lives.
