Greetings the people of Steemit and the Hindwhale Community!

Today i invite you to step into Bulgaria, where history has etched its stories on the land, and democracy's dance weaves through its veins.

Democracy's Pulse

Bulgaria's heart beats democracy, a rhythm learned from casting off communist shackles. Picture this: citizens step up to the voting plate, holding the reins of power through regular elections. Yet, shadows lurk – corruption's specter and governance's puzzle. The quest? Nurturing the roots of democracy and chiseling away obstacles.

Embrace of Sovereignty

Centuries of foreign dominion were brushed away as Bulgaria grasped sovereignty's torch. European Union and NATO rings bind the nation's finger, uniting it with allies. The dance? Juggling global alliances while guarding Bulgarian identity and interests.

Harvesting Freedom

Bulgaria's fields tell tales of self-sufficiency, a triumph of toil. Fertile soil bears fruits of labor, yielding bounty that tides over hunger's tides. It's more than sustenance; it's unity nurtured in every grain.

Empowering Dreams

bg4.jpg

Youth, Bulgaria's vibrant soul, seeks empowerment in a world racing forward. Entrepreneurial shoots spring up, as the nation molds itself as a haven for innovation. Yet, the drain persists – minds seeking greener pastures. The challenge? Chaining brilliance to Bulgarian soil.

Painting Tomorrow

bgg.jpg

Bulgaria's collective dream sculpts a portrait of progress, where corruption crumbles, and opportunity flows like rivers. Transparency's dawn illuminates institutions, weaving a tapestry where every hand weaves progress.

In sum, Bulgaria's story is a saga of battles won and horizons reached. The tale is far from over - it's a symphony of resilience, each note struck by Bulgarians crafting their destiny. As Bulgaria shapes its future, may its spirit continue painting the skies with dreams and achievements.

Anyway let's brainstorm for a second here. In my opinion Bulgaria is one of the freest countries there are and as much as i wish for example to get rid of corruption is this really the answer?

I mean there is always going to be corruption wherever you go. I want you to look at the things in different point view and the view is what is freedom to you?

I think that most of the people will write something like "I want to have more freedom in my country, no corruption, no crime etc." I agree for the most of it, but corruption?

That's what i asked what is a freedom to you. Do you think you can do whatever you want in America for example? I live in Bulgaria and Bulgaria is not a free country technically. Do you think i can get away with doing more in Bulgaria than i could do in America?

If i go out without a mask in a certain place do i get more in trouble here or more trouble in America?

The right answer is it depends on who you are and that's exactly why i asked is corruption really the answer. Every single system, all of them are corrupt - the judicial system is corrupt, the medical system is corrupt the financial system is corrupt, it's all corrupt. It is all a matter of who you are, now in America the game is limited to the ultra billioniares who control governments, in other contries like mine anyone with money, with basic social skills and some nice friends can play the game and if we are gonna accept that every single system on the planet is corrupt why would you live in a place where you can not have access to corruption, i hope that makes sense logically. By corruption i mean don't you want to live in a country where people are not programmed by the media that deep, for example telling you to put masks on for a common cold virus and in the matter of safety to get neccesery vaccination otherwise you get suspended from your job or your business going bankrupt?

I'm not telling not following the rules, but imagine seeing an 80 year old lady without a mask in the subway and fine her x amount of money as much as her pension is for a month. That's called the human element and if you are humane and moral you wouldn't fine her. Imagine after a hundred years when cops are swaped with robots, will the robot tell her to at least wear a mask next time and not fine her or it will fine her right on the spot?

Anyway i understand that not everybody will get along with my opinion, but i hope at least i made you rethink how some things get done in the world.

Thank you for inviting me for this challenge, it is indeed an interesting topic and I believe we all have something to say about our countries. Still there is something remains in common because we are human always been tempted and will be by the chance of having power and egoism. That is a reason why in many countries the leaders can not re-elected more than two times and I find it absolutely right.

Democracy is a dream, it is fragile and it can be easily destroyed, like it almost happened in America during the time when many people following Trump stormed the Capital. The world was staring and waiting for: what is next?

When I think about Democracy I remember Star Trek saga and that ideal world with ideology of those people living a dream and that is golden future that I am afraid we never reach.

It was interesting to learn about Bulgaria and also I enjoyed very much your writing.

Thank you for your feedback. Well I don’t remember who said this about democracy, but it was something like this “ all blood is drained out of democracy it dies when only half of the population votes” and that happened with the storm in Capitolia under Trumps administration, because the last elections were rigged and Trump should’ve won. It’s sad what happened in America yes, but thats what happens when you rig and election to put sleepy Joe on the chair. In my opinion Trump was the last hope for America, people may hate him or like him, but if he was still the president there was not going to be a war in Ukraine. Still nobody wants to live in dystopian society like China, but nobody wants to live in a failed society like in America. I think that the solution for this is to have strong laws, it’s better to had hard and strong laws instead of not having any laws, look at Dubai it’s one of the safest places on earth.
